IBEROSTAR 70 Park Avenue Hotel

What a wonderful, quiet, clean location that is walking distance to 100’s of restaurants & shops! Exceptional service by staff: Melissa and Evelyn at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our stay was 5 star. Manager Deshawn was able to problem-solve our late check-out and explain the best routes to major sites. Super Convenient to Grand Central Station: only a 5 min walk. The room was quiet and cool despite being right on Park avenue. Amenities were high-quality. Enjoyed the wine reception at happy hour!

Staying for one extra night we enjoyed the property and location. The beds and rooms were comfortable. The lobby was great and staff was wonderful. The room was larger than we expected. The shower head could have been taller. Both my wife and I are a bit over 6 foot and we were about 1 inch from hitting it. The scent in the hotel has a weird mix of weed and something else smell. This was in all the areas not a bit off putting. My biggest issue with this hotel and if it were not a points stay were I was not charged the facility fee is the fee. This is one of the most ridiculous ones I have seen yet. I can accept them if they are for on property amenities and credits but this one is virtually worthless and a money grab. Just about all the “features” is for off property percentage off at places that virtually brings no value to anyone. Most hotels these days give you a significant credit to use at the hotel for extras. If I had to pay cash for this hotel I would be looking elsewhere, especially since there are so many options around.

This hotel was recently renovated and is truly special . The rooms are quite comfortable spacious well appointed and immaculate. The staff was extremely friendly ,courteous , efficient and gave us an unexpected upgrade ! The bathroom shower/spa tub was larger than most ,the ,towels were soft and the bed linens were lovely. A special thank you to Melvin at the front desk who assisted me with the mailing of a piece of clothing and a ring I had forgotten in our room . He couldn't have been more helpful . The coffee in the lobby ( which was beautifully furnished with many spots to relax in )and the grab and go food was excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel for any occasion or business trip that would bring you into Murray Hill.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to New York. From the moment I arrived, everyone was welcoming and professional, and the property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around the city, and I always felt well taken care of throughout my stay. I especially want to recognize Evelyn at the front desk. She provided exceptional customer service and truly made my experience memorable. She was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and always greeted me with a smile. Whether I had a question or needed assistance, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Employees like Evelyn make a lasting impression, and she’s a great reflection of the hotel’s commitment to outstanding hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay such a positive experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York!

Just checked out and they would not give me a receipt. They charge for incidental and stuff and don’t tell you much about amenities.
