I stayed at this hotel a few months ago with a friend. Sophy Diaz did our check in and check out and she was super friendly and helpful. Great experience overall.

What a great experience! I was back again for the umpteenth time . The hotel always lives up to its reputation , a home away from home , a haven of luxury , wonderful food and exceptional staff. The Barclay Intercontinental is indeed an amazing place however, this hotel is made amazing by its wonderful and exceptional staff . People like Andrea on the 15th floor along with Katrina contribute to making our stays exceptional , exciting , wonderful and most enjoyable . Orin on reception lights up our lives we touchdown at the hotel, always greet us with a smile and is the first to tell us what to do and what is on in NYC, he is a walking tourist office. Make sure you add the lounge to your booking as there you will get the personal service, wonderful attention, great facilities and service of Bianca, Paulette and Sylvia. These ladies are a wonderful team and contribute overwhelmingly to the guest experience. They preside over the luxury lounge, offering snacks, savouries, fine wines , a memorable New York breakfast and gorgeous coffees. Don't forget if you remember of the Presidents Club there's a Desk on site to offer you swift check-in, additional advice and any assistance you may require . There, the Guest relations team will roll out the red carpet for you! I'm looking forward to heading back to The Barclay again this side of Christmas 2026.

A wonderful stay at The Barclay – exceptional Guest Relations We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental New York Barclay during our recent visit to New York with my girlfriend, who booked our room through IHG.com. The hotel has a great atmosphere, an excellent location, and a real sense of timeless New York hospitality. What particularly stood out was the quality and personal attention of the Guest Relations team. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. Maxime and the team were attentive, professional, and genuinely interested in making sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. It is this level of personal attention that makes a hotel experience truly memorable. The IC Barclay manages to combine the standards of a major international luxury hotel with a warm and personal approach. We greatly appreciated the care and hospitality throughout our stay and will be very happy to return on our next visit to New York.
