Hotel is very busy. Overall a very convenient place to stay. But the breakfast was $42 for a full breakfast. A little too high, but the service was very good for a buffet. The thing that really peeved me, was the attitude to guests on Chase The Edit packages. Part of the package is an upgraded room "based on availability". I was told they were too full to offer an upgrade. But here is the thing: IHG was still selling all room types on their app. I have mid-level IHG status. I have stayed here before. The room we received was much smaller than our previous standard room. Essentially the smallest, lowest grade room this hotel offers. So, I would not stay here again. There are lots of hotels NYC, boo hiss to Intercontinental Times Square.

We dropped by the Stinger restaurant on this stay, as we always do, because of Nick. Nick always makes our experience great. His personality is one of one. He makes us feel so welcomed, he’s knowledgeable, kind, and very humorous. We come back to Stinger because of Nick and will be back again tonight and every time we visit for the same reason - Nick. We highly suggest you come and ask for Nick when you visit. Drinks are good too.

Stayed at the InterContinental Times Square hotel from 5/31/26-6/6/26 for a program RSM US LLP delivered with Cornell University. The room was clean, the view of the Hudson was lovely, the 26th floor was quiet (solid windows so very little street noise), the Keurig was handy, water pressure was amazing, and the food was scrumptious (both catering and in the onsite restaurant The Stinger (I recommend the burger, Caesar salad, and grilled cheese with tomato soup)). Best part of the week was a hotel staff person named Charles. When I arrived he took my heavy bag out of the car and wheeled it alongside me to reception. The next day he saw my hands full, escorted me to the elevator and selected my floor button so I didn’t drop anything. I hurt my foot (prior to checking in) and Charles saw me hobbling and offered to bring ice to the room (which I didn’t take him up on because the ice was so conveniently located). This morning when I saw Charles, he told me where to find the nearest Starbucks and also recommended an excellent bagel place next door (shout out to Broad Nosh Bagels on 9th Ave and 42nd St). The IHG was fantastic but it was Charles who made my day every day. The rest of the staff are wonderful as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was fine and room/bathroom was larger than I expected. However the doorman in front of the hotel (I believe he was a doorman, there were 2 guys dressed the same and were there the days i was staying at the hotel) was very aggressive about upselling the hotel limo service. I wanted a cab to Battery Park city and he lied to me and said it would cost $60 in a taxi and i should take the hotel car instead. Maybe he thought i was a foreign tourist and he could scam me, but I lived in NYC for 14 years and believe me i know how much cabs cost. Low class move for a hotel that promotes itself as high end. BTW, the cab to BP cost less than $30

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the InterContinental Times Square. The location was perfect, just close enough to the action but still quiet ”enough".
The staff were all very friendly and incredibly helpful. We will be back.
