Nice hotel even if it is near Times Square ;-) Highlights: - Nice rooms - Dark shades for keeping daylight out if want to sleep in - With our booking we got complimentary breakfast each morning and it was a nice buffet that was open til 11am - Easy access to subway with stop right next door steps away - Many stores, restaurants, and bars within walking distance - Close to Hell's Kitchen so not right in the center of Times Square craziness - Bar and restaurant downstairs Midlights: - No lobby area with seating. There is a section that's part of the restaurant but you can't bring food in there. - Bar closes at 11pm Lowlights: - Fridge only for hotel charged drinks and pressure sensitive so no room for leftover food - No waters provided--many hotels especially in the summer heat provided at least a bottle a day

The location may be great close to Times Square and subway station but the building is old and even on the 32nd floor we can hear all the street traffic passing by below. And the toilet bowl kept on running water ALL night long. The door man also offered the use of the “hotel suburban” as the ride back to the airport offering $10 off vs Uber. DO NOT use it. The driver ONLY took side street to the airport making the trip longer than it needed to be. Intercontinental needs to reevaluate this property. The property also charged us a $45 “amenity fee” but couched it with a “$20” credit to be used at the restaurant or room service - which would mean you will need to spend more than $20. Just be honest and charge us $25.

We stayed here 2 nights over my birthday weekend. Great location if you want to be close to Times Square & Broadway shows. Subway was right there which was perfect for traveling. Lots of great places to eat all around & walkable to Bryant Park, Central Park, MSG, etc. We stayed via the Edit (Chase) which gave some good perks that they honored (breakfast, room upgrade, $100 credit). Our room was on the 33rd floor, and while we didn’t hear normal traffic, we definitely heard ambulance, fire engine sirens late at night. The room was clean & updated. They acknowledged my birthday with a slice of cheesecake. A solid 4.5 hotel.

We stayed two nights at the intercontinental times square and Nick was our waiter, first for drinks at the bar and then later for a meal. He was great, and very attentive to our needs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the InterContinental Times Square. The location was perfect, just close enough to the action but still quiet ”enough".
The staff were all very friendly and incredibly helpful. We will be back.
