InterContinental New York Times Square

I am a longtime client of the Intercontinental Hotels, and have been to the Times Square Hotel several times. I really enjoy staying there, but this time I felt that the front desk person that checked me in wasn't interested in trying to be helpful with my last minute reservation even though I am a member of their Ambassador program with quite a few points saved. After trying to get a little bit of help from the customer service chat line, I finally (after 2 hrs) ended up going back downstairs myself, and was able to speak to the manager. Thank you to the manager and his staff there at that later hour for being very helpful. I ESPECIALLY want to mention and sincerely THANK Bert, the doorman who offered to assist with my ride to the airport when I was checked out and leaving.... He set me up with one of their trusted drivers who was very nice and a good driver. I accidentally left my phone in the car once I arrived at LGA, and through the help of the counter agent for United Airlines (thank You!) I was able to call back to the hotel, be connected with Bert on the phone who very quickly said he would call the driver (Toussaint) and ask him to return to LGA with my phone, which he did in quick time! It is a horrible feeling to lose a personal mobile phone, especially while traveling, so I am very indebted and grateful for the kindness and quick action of Bert and Toussaint. I hope that Bert can be acknowledged and appropriately rewarded for his wonderful spirit of hospitality and helping others.

Great location, Hotel is very nice but has very many extra fees that should not be given. Extra Wifi, taxes, etc. Also-the breakfast is only buffet- should have better dining selections

Fantastic experience. Great location and the staff is incredible most especially Bert and Charles at the front. The rooms could be a little nicer given how much I paid for the night, but staff is very important to me so I would come back again just for the two of them.

Excellent stay and excellent service. Currently staying here with a group of friends and having a ball. We have been so well hosted in the bar every night be Arya and Nick in The Stinger. They have literally welcomed us like friends and nothing has been too much trouble, even when one of us stating coughing after laughter, Nick rushed over with a glass of water. Thanks guys for making our friends 60th so special.

Made all the better by our amazing server Nick in The Stinger. We’ll never forget him. He made each evening special. We’ll be back
