Other New York City luxury hotels may talk about service, but at Loews Regency New York Hotel, we’ve been living it for over 50 years. You’ll experience our special brand of relaxed sophistication when our bellman greets you with a friendly smile and our concierge calls you by name. Loews Regency New York Hotel's concierge can assist with things like theater tickets, checking exhibits at the local museum, or getting you a table at the hot new restaurant the locals can’t stop talking about.

My friend and I stayed at the Loews Regency for 3 nights and by night 1 had decided this was our new go-to hotel in NYC. We received top notch service from everyone - bellmen, check-in, housekeeping, bartenders, and the gentleman that stored our bags for us after check-out so we could get a few more hours of the city in before leaving. He had such a great sense of humor! The Loews is an easy walk to plenty of shopping, dining, and night life, but is nestled away from the heavily populated areas, so it's a much quieter stay than some of the luxury hotels nearby. Our standard 2 queen room was extra large in size and the walk-in closet was a nice touch. The bathroom was small. We enjoyed having plush robes and slippers. Free coffee is located in the lobby bar each morning, but there was not a coffee maker in our room. Plenty of great cafes nearby too - we really like Charlotte cafe up 61st Street. I would highly recommend the Loews Regency!

If you ever have the chance to stay at Loews Regency in NYC, I highly recommend it!! The hospitality is amazing from the time you get there till the time you leave. And trust me, you will never want to leave this gorgeous hotel!! The rooms are so clean and comfortable, the amenities are just perfect, the concierge services are incredible, and the bar and restaurant is sooo good!! You will feel at home as soon as you enter this magical place on the corner of 61st and Park ave! You just can't beat the location...so close to Central Park and awesome restaurants! It's one of my favorite places ever!

My husband and I spent ten glorious days just before Christmas at this hotel in the heart of Manhattan, which has been our favorite spot on the planet since we first stayed there in the 1990s. What makes it so special is not only its fine amenities—like its great restaurant, the Regency Bar and Grill, the fabulous Julien Farel Spa, the well-equipped fitness center and spacious, tastefully appointed guest rooms with every comfort imaginable. It's the impeccable service, delivered with a sincere, thoughtful and cheerfully helpful attitude by every single member of the staff, from the concierge to the housekeepers to the bellmen to the waiters. They are all one of a kind, and each one is a pleasure to deal with. So basically, it's the people. They are above and beyond, and we will return as soon as we can to see them again.

If you have the opportunity to stay at the Loews Regency Hotel in NYC you should go and stay at this hotel. It is a quintessential New York experience. You are greeted by a doorman who opens your door, takes your bag and valet parks your car. The lobby was beautiful and had two large fully decorated Christmas trees! We ate lunch at the restaurant, were seated right away and had a delicious meal in a beautiful setting with large comfy chairs. In the lobby from 3-6 was a station set up with free champagne and an elaborate hot chocolate bar with cookies and dried fruit and nuts. We stayed in the Park Ave Suite as I have two teenage kids who need their own beds. It was a huge space. So comfortable and with stunning views of the city. We even received a surprise tray of crackers, cheese and cookies! The linens and pillows were amazing and my whole family had a really goodnight sleep! I took a bath and enjoyed the luxury bath products. I am trying to find out if I can buy the lotion to have at my own house! Checkout was done in one minute by my phone. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay at the Loews Regency, booked through Amex Fine Hotels. We’ve also stayed at The Standard East Village and The Plaza. The Standard has a fun, 1980s-style charm and great Amex upgrades, but it’s more casual and less polished, with older elevators and a distinctly downtown vibe. The Plaza and the Regency, by contrast, feel much more refined and elegant, fitting their Upper East Side locations. The Plaza’s rooms are stunning — think Marie Antoinette-level luxury — but it’s busier, with older elevators and frequent lines. The Regency, on Park Avenue and East 61st, felt perfect for this trip: modern, quiet, and sophisticated. It offers that quintessential New York feel without the heavy tourist crowds, just a couple blocks from Central Park. We arrived early and were warmly greeted by DeWayne at the front desk, who congratulated us on our anniversary. Every staff member we met was kind and welcoming. Our room was beautifully designed, quiet, and comfortable. Being able to grab a coffee and stroll into Central Park within minutes was a highlight. Overall, the Regency felt more modern and serene than The Plaza, and more upscale than The Standard — the best of both worlds. Huge thanks to everyone at Loews for making our stay so special!
