Get a rich taste of the Big Apple at the AAA Five-Diamond Award-winning Mandarin Oriental, New York. Its premier address, at the crossroads of Columbus Circle and 60th, marks the epitome of New York style. Behind the modern design of steel and glass is a quiet high-rise retreat where luxury knows no bounds. The guest rooms and suites fuse together contemporary elements with the traditions of the Far East. The views are unparalleled - with Central Park, the Manhattan skyline or the Hudson River gleaming with each sunrise and sunset. In keeping with Mandarin Oriental's high standard of culinary excellence, the hotel presents Asiate restaurant, located on the 35th floor and boasting an exemplary menu with a 1,300-bottle collection of wine. Lobby Lounge is more casual and ideal for small bites, while MObar takes Manhattan by storm with its 1930s vibe and sleek island bar.

The hotel exudes luxury—elegant, refined, and undeniably posh. Service was impeccable from start to finish, with thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water for all guests and twice-daily turndown service. I highly recommend enjoying a drink at the lounge—the views and overall vibe are simply spectacular. The staff were helpful and friendly. While there’s no full-service restaurant on-site, the hotel is conveniently connected to the Time Warner Center, offering easy access to a variety of excellent dining options. The room size for Manhattan is quite generous, and the bathrooms are fantastic size as well. The views were decent, but I am sure there are better views for other hotel rooms.

First off the Staff is amazing, everyone is well trained, courteous and professional. The hotel itself definitely needs refurbishment. On our final morning, there was a very large leak coming from the ceiling and through the light fixture in the bathroom and shower. We notified maintenance and they were immediately on the case. The response was excellent, however, something is very wrong when ceilings start leaking, hopefully a renovation is in order soon.

Strong points: Incredible, responsive employees that are attentive to your guests. Weak Points: Mediocre food and the venue itself feels more like high end office space than a five star hotel. I have stayed at the MO in Dubai and in Istanbul and the food and venues themselves were truly five star.

Amazing location, rooms and reception staff. Definitely one of the top selections in luxury hotel category. I prefer Mandarin Oriental wherever I ago and the New York one is among my favourites due to its charm, location next to the Park and excellent views no matter room category. Staff is exemplary and up to MO standards.

My wife and I booked a stay at Mandarin Oriental, New York to have a night away, see a show and have a nice dinner. From the considerate communication by Andres in Guest Relations prior to our stay and his warm greeting upon our arrival, to the spectacular suite with incredible views of Central Park and the Hudson River, the generous and thoughtful amenities (‘Good Night, Good Luck..’ pastries in honor of the Broadway show we were attending, a nice bottle of wine...), to the incredibly attentive and gracious team we encountered throughout our stay, my wife and I had a truly wonderful stay at Mandarin Oriental New York. Having stayed at virtually every luxury hotel in NYC, this is our new home in NYC moving forward. THANK YOU!
