Henry is a credit to the hotel. Friendly and gracious, we love him. The entire staff is very polite and friendly. Walter and Walther at the front desk exceedingly welcoming and helpful. We have been staying at The Michelangelo for over thirty years. This boutique hotel is highly recommended and relatively inexpensive. It’s steps from fine restaurants and Broadway plays.

The hotel is in a very good location in relation to being in times square, and broadway area. Although it can be a bit noisy because of its location, the hotel has an atmosphere that makes you feel far away from all the hub-bub of New York City. From the friendly and polite bellmen, and front desk staff to the housekeeping staff everyone made you feel welcome. A special thank you to Henry who greeted us ever so cheerfully everyday and even made our dog feel welcome!

Thank you for a truly beautiful 16-hour stay. The Michelangelo staff was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The food was excellent as well. I had friends join me for dinner, which was delightful, and I managed to enjoy a quick breakfast before my early departure.
I was especially delighted by the unexpected upgrade—what a wonderful surprise! My only regret was that my visit was too short. To fix that, I’ll be returning very soon, and I’m already looking forward to another memorable experience.
