A wonderful stay
We stayed at Modernhaus as part of a work trip - my husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely The hotel is well appointed, the rooms are (for NYC) spacious and very comfortable - we had an amazing bed, and one of the nicest showers we’ve seen in any comparable hotel! But the experience is truly made by the incredible staff. Kristy, Christopher, and the whole team went out of their way to make us feel at home from the moment we checked in. They are kind, personable, and seem truly passionate about making sure their guests have a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Meh.
While the location is good, I found the hotel, despite the few pieces of good art, felt generic and cold. I stayed on the 11th floor and while there is no disputing the view was outstanding the room felt cheap. It felt like the developers had dreams of luxury but for whatever reason (I’m betting $$) have had to scale back significantly. The shower fluctuated from hot to cold with annoying regularity. While this may sound petty, twice I requested body lotion and additional nespresso pods, they never arrived. In comparison to other hotels I have stayed at, (Chelsea, Ludlow, Marlton to name a few) whose customer service is outstanding, I wouldn’t stay here again. There are too many other better hotels. Sorry Mordernhaus, you don’t stand up.

No hot water for 16 hours
No hot water and the front desk lady was rude as hell about it. when we checked in they didn't even tell us. She literally said" you are not the only one affected" okay so??? how about fix the damn problem?

Not worth the money...
The hotel does not provide value for money. The breakfast is extremely disappointing. Even the more expensive rooms are very small.
