Reviews for The Muse New York

Won't stay here again.

Nice hotel, nice rooms, nice staff. Have stayed before. Booked 3 rooms for 1 night for business. Asked if 1 room could checkout at 1pm instead of noon, which hotel could accommodate but charged $100. I will not stay here again. Seemed like an arbitrary decision be a manger.

Great Location, Clean, Attentive, Courteous

The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to Times Square, Broadway and tons of shops and restaurants. It is VERY lively in that area, and I did hear some of the noise at night, but I had ear plugs and my "white noise" app to muffle the sounds, and I noticed that the noise died down at a reasonable hour. The room and bathroom were VERY clean. We requested more soap, fresh towels and an extra set of bedding and they brought everything up quickly when we asked. The staff was very helpful, attentive (room was always clean when we got back from our day out) and courteous. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, and I prefer a fluffier pillow, however I got used to it after the first night. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people who want to stay near Times Square. I saw a review about the room not having a good view and dirty windows-both true, however I wasn't in my room for the view or clean windows, I was there to sleep!

Largest Room I ever had in NYC

Fantastic location near Times Square. The Muse was the perfect spot visiting Manhattan with my daughter while I had to work at the Auto Show. To find a room with two beds that was decent sized and not too expensive in Manhattan was awesome. Just beware of those "fees" Would definitely stay again.

The location is perfect. Near enough to Times Square to walk there in five minutes but far enough away to avoid most of the riff raff. Good restaurants on the block. Hotel check in at 3pm with bag check if you show up early. Check out is at noon which we found generous. Water including sparkling is available in the hallway of each floor. Hotel is well maintained and the staff is helpful and professional. We will stay here again. There is a bar, restaurant off of lobby. I would not suggest the included breakfast plan. It's an order at the counter and was just so so for breakfast. Lots of better options in the area.

Good location.

The hotel is centrally located near Times Square but quiet at night. I got a two-bed executive room so it was spacious. After a long day of walking, the high-pressure rain shower was the best part of the room. The room is clean, but there are minor maintenance issues (there is no drain stopper in one of the sinks, and I almost lost my ring down the drain). My room has no view but it wouldn't have mattered because the outside windows were absolutely filthy. We didn't open the shade the three nights we were there because the windows were filthy and gross. The hotel lobby and elevator were clean, and I saw team members working hard to keep the place clean. I suggest letting your guests know the hotel charges $3 a bag for storing luggage after checkout. Team members told me on two occasions that I could store luggage after check out, but neither mentioned a charge. I prefer knowing there's a charge and not being surprised by additional charges after checking out.
