Omni Berkshire Place Hotel

The hotel itself is located in a fantastic area, in close proximity to Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Central Park. Times Square is just a 10–15 minute walk away, yet the hotel is situated in a much quieter, less noisy area. We had a Premiere Executive King room with a balcony, which was the perfect size for the three of us. Before our arrival, we called the hotel to inform them that we had two separate reservations and kindly requested that they be merged into one, as well as to arrange for an extra bed. The lady on the phone assured us this would be complimentary. However, upon arrival, the bookings were not merged, though the issue was resolved. The extra bed was not set up, and the receptionist wanted to charge us $50 for it. When we mentioned that we had received different information over the phone, she said she would look into it the following day. The next day, a different person was working at the reception and immediately confirmed that no additional fee was required. Aside from this, everything was fine. Although we stayed for several days, we spent little time at the hotel itself, as we were constantly out exploring the city and mainly returned to sleep. For this purpose, the hotel met all our needs perfectly. We requested a coffee machine set, and whenever supplies ran low, they were promptly replenished upon request. The cleaning staff never replaced or cleaned the used coffee mug. It was taken away once during our 10-day stay, but no new one was provided. This issue was resolved by the room service. The bed and pillows in this room were the most comfortable I have ever experienced. A special highlight for us, and especially for my 11-year-old daughter, was Lanny, the doorman. She had been following his TikTok videos before our arrival and was excited to meet him and dance with him. He was definitely a major highlight of our stay, and we all agreed that he brought a unique charm to the hotel. Lanny truly deserves his growing fame.

This hotel is in the heart of the city. It's a great location for hitting up Rockefeller Center and all of the shops on 5th and Madison Avenue. The whole crew is excellent -- from the doormen, porters, check in staff, housekeeping, to the waiters at Berks -- we were impressed with their helpfulness and friendliness. The gym was great, and we easily accessed their business center for a meeting. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was good (just get there before the kitchen closes at 10pm sharp!). Our waiter Nor was fantastic! The dinner food was good, though breakfast was not as impressive. The only downside is that the rooms are small (which is understandable for a NYC hotel room) and a little dated and worn. But overall a great experience and I would recommend!

Had the best time at the Omni. Great location, sweet staff, perfect rooms. I’ll be staying there again! It was walking distance from all the restaurants, cafes, shops, 5th Ave shopping, and more. Their concierge service was able to assist with making reservations and suggestions for activities.

What a great spot right in the heart of Manhattan. Friendly, great service, good breakfast options, comfortable clean rooms and pretty lobby for photos. The king room was simple, classic, and luxurious, with beautiful linens and plenty of space for our things. Loved the bathroom with pink marble. We will return!

Great stay! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. We felt safe and well taken care of. The best part was the location! We were able to walk everywhere! We would definitely stay here again when we return.
