"It's a jungle out here" the staff said
I was at the hotel bar having a nice cocktail and my jacket was stolen right off the bar stool. The staff said "it's a jungle out here" and kicked me out. The manager came, tried to help, but "there's nothing we can do". No reimbursement for property stolen while on their property

The BEST place to stay in New York
PUBLIC NY is by far my favorite place to stay in New York! From the decor, staff, and wellness activities, everything has been thought through from start to finish. The ease of self-check-in and out allows me to get straight to my room and on with my day. Beyond thrilled they will have location in West Hollywood soon!

Excellent time at the Public for a weekend trip in NYC
Everything was incredible! And as advertised - I would come here again in a heartbeat, great location, good quality rooms and very helpful staff. Amenities / restaurants were all top notch. Also a huge kudos to Security staff, Jonathan specifically who quickly and professionally helped me recover a charger and set of keys I had left in the room.

I had an amazing experience at the Public Hotel! I found the ambience modern and chic! Above all, the staff was super accomadating and friendly especially Jaime! He took really great care of me and made my stay even more wonderful! I can’t wait to come back
