Reviews for Royalton Park Avenue

Not cheap. Good location. Nice staff

Just ok. Rooms a bit grim. We were put by the lifts so had to get dire loud drunken yobs getting in at 3 am. It’s not cheap. The rooftop pool is tiny and pretty a full when full of kids. Music over loud. Nice staff. Had good food in the restaurant with a hilarious singer. Was funny. Not cheap but I guess well located.

Excellent Setvice

The Royalton Park Avenue has become my favorite hotel in NYC. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the view from the upstairs bar is great. Most important, the service in all departments there is consistently excellent. I must single out the personnel in four departments: the front desk, the door, housekeeping, and food and beverage. Everyone does their job well and does whatever they can to make your stay a great one. I wish I could remember all of their names but there were too many fantastic hotel associates.

Great hotel in good location. Rooms large and very clean. Staff catered to our every need. Roof top pool and bar were an added bonus.

Felt Like Royalty at the Royalton

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Eric, Steven, and Josh were amazing. Eric helped us arrange medical deliveries to the room, booked tours and cars for us. One of the members of our party uses a wheelchair and Eric went out of his way to search for providers who could accommodate the wheelchair for our adventures in the city. His expertise and professionalism were so refreshing. Steven and Josh were kind and always ready to assist us with whatever we needed. They made our stay at the Royalton the best vacation we have had in a long time.

Issues with check -in.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We had a room with a terrace and it was a really nice feature. Asked for early check-in, but they were unable to accommodate. We did drop off our bags and was told we’d be on the top of the list for check-in. We returned at 5 PM and was told our room is still not available - Even though actual check-in was at four. Paul, at the front desk was wonderful and patient. But it was still quite frustrating. Also found it odd that there were no ice machines in the building. We did ask for it to be sent to the room which did occur. However, no knock on the door, they just set it outside, which we discovered later. Room was clean and overall the stay was fine. But will probably look elsewhere for next visit to New York.
