Had a great stay. I was upgraded to a huge room on check-in, and it was very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was especially functional. Would go back again and stay for sure!

If you are looking for 5 star hotel, this is not your address. 4 star possible but 3 star is more likely fit. Location is true that middle of NY, but hotel owner need to consider spend some budget to improve everything. We booked this hotel as room has balcony, we paid extra for King room as it has balcony... there are a few options in downtown hotels with balcony options. my wife has deep claustrophobia issue. Guess what, there was balcony but locked, not avaliable for for guests. but in hotel room definiton and pictures, it was very clearly and visible that room has balcony...

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, but unfortunately my experience was ruined by what felt like a scam after checkout. Without warning, the hotel charged my card $600, claiming I had broken a door handle in the room. This accusation is completely unfair. The handle in question was attached to the balcony door, which already had a sign saying “Out of Order” when I arrived. That clearly suggests the damage existed before my stay. Despite this, the hotel billed me and ignored all my attempts to contest the charge—I rang and wrote multiple times but never received a response. The lack of communication and accountability is deeply concerning. Guests should not be penalized for pre-existing damage, especially when the hotel itself acknowledges it by posting a warning sign. If you do choose to stay here, I strongly advise documenting the condition of your room with photos or video at both check-in and checkout. Even then, be aware that you may face the same silence I did when disputing charges. This experience left me feeling cheated, and I would caution others to think twice before booking.

stayed here earlier in the year the hotel is very good but upon arrival gave credit card as was told needed for security so i left my card on departure i was charged 48dollars a day for i quote wifi, local calls, coffee pods in room, access to pool and fitness room.i told them this was totally unacceptable but they took the money from my card.i took my cc company months to get them to drop some of the charges so beware and pay deposit by credit card only!
