Sofitel New York

I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel New York 🗽 during my recent trip to the city. The location is perfect—just steps away from Times Square and Bryant Park—but what truly made my stay memorable was the incredible service. A special shoutout to Gilbert and Shevanie 🙌, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I was traveling with my company’s CEO, and when we encountered a small issue with the room , they handled it immediately and with such professionalism. Thanks to their quick response, everything was resolved smoothly—and I even got praised for booking such a great hotel ! It’s rare to find such personalized service these days, and their hospitality truly made us feel at home. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to NYC. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, class, and exceptional service 🌟.

I have always had a great time staying at the Sofitel New York, but last time I had a very unfortunate experience. On the day of my checkout, I checked my luggage and went out to lunch as I had an evening flight. Upon my return, when I went to pick up my checked luggage, one of my suitcases was missing. Fortunately, I had an AirTag in the suitcase and was able to track it on its way to JFK with another guest. To my luck, the manager on duty, Bijou, was able to track down that guest and retrieve my suitcase. I just hope next time around the bell captains are more careful when handing out checked luggage.

We stayed here for a week over thanksgiving and this was our second time staying in this hotel from the UK. The hotel is in a perfect location just a college or blocks back from Bryant Park, a must visit, and easy access to the subway as well as Grand Central. I love the art deco style of the hotel, it feels like you’re stepping back in to a classic time in New York City. The service is fantastic, particularly from the concierge team and housekeeping team, and we felt very well looked after. I emailed ahead with some requests and my emails were answered swiftly, as gold members we had free drinks on arrival and were surprised to find we could have cocktails (not the same in all hotels) If you’re looking for the perfect location, a 5 star experience and comfortable rooms then look no further.

Great hotel with great location. We stayed in a one bedroom corner suite. Room was awesome. We were especially impressed with the team. Gilbert in particular was at the front desk when we checked in and was kind and professional. He went above and beyond from the beginning but especially after we were in need. The team usually can make or break a luxury hotel, he definitely brought it up a notch. Gilbert is the man! Great stay with my son for spring break.

Sir Gilbert, his manager and staff were by far the best damn people I've ever met. Due to us booking on a 3rd party app, we got the wrong type of room. It was raining, we were exhausted and on the verge of tears. Sir Gilbert expertly assessed the situation, got management involved and managed to get us a better room. This room was where we held a small and intimate wedding. Of course the venue was beautiful, but it was the staff working there that really excelled our expectations. It made our very rain drenched, loss of voice sick, bruised n battered day into a warm and wonderful experience. Unparalleled experience by far.
