WestHouse New York

We came here for a one night staycation (from NJ) to see a Broadway show. I grew up in NYC so I am familiar with the location, and I like that its not right in the center of times square but a few blocks further north where I like to be. The westhouse is one of those hotels in older pre-war buildings but it has done a decent job of updating everything. We were upgraded to a 1-BR which was very nice of them as they recognized my husband's diamond status with Hilton. Also there is a "free lounge" and "free breakfast" however it is technically part of the resort fee which you have to pay regardless. It is nice though to have that as an option if you don't feel like going anywhere else or rushing to a dinner before a show etc. Especially when the weather is cold or rainy. Staff were friendly and nice. I would stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at the Westhouse. . everyone from the staff including Pagye Tariq, Rafael Sonie, Marcello and Vanessa were fabulous. Winston did a great job arranging transportation to the airport. The room was soo comfortable, and the hotel did a great job honoring our requests for the room to be feather free and in a very quiet location. This is the first time I've stayed in NY and not heard a single siren all night. It made the trip so much more enjoyable. I'll add that the lounge upstairs offered wonderful food morning and nights and even had beverages and snacks during the day. Last, the location was perfect! We were close to every Subway line, and found getting around the city was extremely convient, whether we walked or took a subway. We really loved the hotel and would be thrilled to return. Sometimes, the people make a place special, and sometimes the place is special on it's own, but the people are just ok. At the Westhouse, both the people and the place were exceptional. Can't wait to return.

Just spent 4 nights here and I couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Was celebrating a big birthday with 10 friends and received such special treatment from Rafael, Sonia, Winston, Marcello, Vanessa Tarik, Jesey and especially Pagye who left balloons, champagne, cheese and a special dessert as we arrived to our room. I cannot wait to come back to this special hotel, which also happens to be a great location to everything!

I've never smoked a day in my life, and this hotel's wonderful installed sensor in the room picked up something to do with smoking. I was surprised to see a $500 fee on my bill. We'll see if they do the right thing and resolve this...

The West House Hotel is a marvelous experience; everything is truly first class. The staff is a welcoming group of experienced professionals who truly wish to assist you. The location is perfect for visitors, with everything you wish to see within walking distance. The meals are a wonderful bonus. If you stay elsewhere, you have missed out.
