Great hotel and service, in a perfect location in NYC
We had one night at the Westhouse, close to Carnegie Hall. it doesn't seem like a big hotel when you arrive, but it is, and the neighborhood has everything, from restaurants to laundry.

Overall a "10" from the moment i arrived and was greeted by the doorman at the uber, to the greeting as i walked in the door, to be advised the room was not ready yet it was fantastic. The professionalism, service and courtesy set the tone. Back an hour later Room ready and walked into a very clean, fresh, cool room. Everything was great. THe following morning a trip to 23 as I am leaving my room housekeeping right there ready to jump in. Told them I was grabbing breakfast and would be back down. Everyone was courteous, professional and just set the tone. Highly recommend

NICE HOTEL but with PROBLEMS!
This is a stylish, comfortable, well located and not unreasonably priced hotel. However it is DEFINITELY NOT a 5* luxury property. There is an excellent breakfast and a good light dinner in the Terrace Lounge which Sonja graciously and ably helms. However, there were numerous minor issues which could easily be addressed if anyone really cared. The room had no small towels, washcloths or robes when we checked in and a call to housekeeping brought nothing. They were supplied with the next days routine maid service. The USB outlets on the desk and the lighting on one side of the bed were TOTALLY non functional. Two calls to Guest Services did not result in anyone appearing to attempt a repair. The room phone and TV remote did not work smoothly. We have stayed here before and did not encounter such issues. I am not sure we will try again.

Amazing stay at a cosy and modern hotel.
What a lovely day at this stunning hotel. Everything is meticulously planned and reviewed. The lobby is fantastic and the rooms are beautiful, particularly the breakfast lounge on the 23rd floor. This location was perfect for my travel plans.

This hotel is located a block from Central Park and was a wonderful stay with a great room and friendly staff. I look forward to staying again someday!
