While Hyatt has some very nice vintage properties in NYC (Beekman), this hotel is currently not. While the bellman and front desk were nice, the facility is in poor condition. The hallways have stained carpet. The carpet in the room appeared dirty. The bedside light switches don’t work well. The room includes robes, but no slippers. The windows are not soundproofed. Worst of all, there seemed to be mold on the closet ceiling (pictured). Also, this is our experience checking in as a Hyatt Globalist. I wonder if there are even worse rooms. Overall, this is a disappointing addition to the Hyatt’s NYC portfolio.

As a World of Hyatt Globalist who spends 60+ nights a year at Hyatt properties, I can confidently say the service at The Seville stands out. Ricardo, Luc Aboua, Angelica, Nebi, and Phillip went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Their warmth and attention to detail made a real difference for me and my wife. The NoMad location is unbeatable, the hotel is spotless, and the on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Yes, some parts of the property show its age, but the service more than makes up for it. We were even upgraded to a suite mid-stay—unexpected and much appreciated. Huge thanks to the whole Seville team. We'll be back!

Had an amazing stay at The Seville Hotel. Right from the start, Tommaso (the new GM) and Chris Budhu (Director of Rooms) made sure everything was perfect. They both set a great tone—welcoming, attentive, and on top of the details. The location is unbeatable. Midtown feels too corporate, Downtown tries a little too hard, but this spot hits the sweet spot. Everything you need is a short walk away, and the vibe of the neighborhood just feels right. The hotel itself is super clean, fresh, and stylish without being over the top. The lounge downstairs is great for relaxing, the restaurant in the lobby is solid, and the lobby bar has a fun energy without being chaotic. The room? Way bigger than I expected for NYC. Chris had us set up in a suite that was honestly larger than most apartments I’ve seen in the city. All in all, a great experience. Comfortable, easy, and really well run. I’ll definitely be back.
