My recent overnight stay at Hotel Seville - NoMad by Hyatt was absolutely fantastic. This hotel really shows off the elegance of early 20th-century travel, and the room features vintage details and custom furnishings as it was described. The hotel is in great location in New York City, walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and hip bars just a short walk to Penn station or Grand Central station. The hotel's check-in process is quick, staff is courteous and they greet you with a nice smile. I called the management the day before and mentioned that our stay will be for my daughter's birthday celebration and much to our surprise the staff made my daughter's birthday so memorable. When we entered our room, we were thrilled to find a beautiful card and delicious cookies selection waiting for my daughter. This personal touch shows the hotel's attention to detail and commitment to making guests feel valued. Thank you to the management and staff! As a bonus, this place even has a bar in the hotel's lower level called "The Seville" a hip, energetic hangout with plush lounge decor, offering cocktails, small plates, DJ and live music, and you can tell that it is a favorite hang out place by chic people.

I stayed at Hotel Seville Nomad for two nights. The room was clean and spacious, which is a plus for New York City. However, my experience was negatively impacted by a service issue. As a frequent business traveler, I rely on having a functional iron and ironing board. The one in my room was broken, and while I understand these things happen, I reported it to the front desk in the morning and asked if it could be addressed during the day. When I returned late that evening, the ironing board had been put away, so I didn’t realize until the next morning that it was still the same broken one. At checkout, I mentioned the issue again. The staff member explained he had notified housekeeping but could not say why it wasn’t taken care of. While he assured me he would follow up so that future guests wouldn’t face the same problem, the lack of follow-through during my stay was disappointing. Overall, while the accommodations were very nice, the service experience did not meet expectations.

I picked this hotel because the 2-bedroom, two queen, two full-bathroom suite option, which is a rarity in NYC. It was exactly what my family of 4 needed to spread out. The hotel has classic old New York hotel vibes with Hyatt amenities. I’m surprised Hyatt did not brand this hotel as an Andaz when they took it over. Our check-in was smooth and attentive. Everyone from the doorman to the bellman ensured we were comfortable. We happened to arrive during evening wine hour. It was such a treat to help ourselves to a class after a long day of travel. The suite was nicely done, except for the poor lighting throughout. We had housekeeping come and set up the sofa bed. They also brought extra robes, slippers, and towels. Filtered water was also a nice touch. Note that if you want a coffee, you have to ask for the coffee service tray, which is a Keurig. We have stayed in other hotels in NOMAD, but this hotel is in the ideal location. Despite our suite being on the 5th floor, we never heard much noise. We walked to The Smith for dinner and then took a short walk to the train uptown the next day. My family says this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in NYC. I agree. We will be back.
