Forty 1° North

We had a wonderful stay at 41 North. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a nice water view. Welcome note in our room and a sweet treat were both a special touch, unexpected, but appreciated for sure. Staff in the hotel were all friendly and helpful. We are already planning another trip, can’t wait to be back!

We stayed at Forty 1 North for a quick honeymoon. Excellent service began immediately with Samantha and Jay at guest services. We were able to check in early and got a premium room upgrade. Our stay at Forty 1° North was nothing short of exceptional—truly a 10+ star experience. We stayed in the Westerly Loft, and despite seeing a few mixed reviews beforehand, it completely exceeded expectations. The space felt more like a private luxury suite than a standard hotel room—spacious, beautifully designed, and perfect for a family. The privacy and layout made it especially comfortable, and we would absolutely choose this accommodation again without hesitation. We visited during the off-season, so there were no events happening at the restaurant below, and we experienced zero issues with noise. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the level of care and attentiveness from the staff. Ahead of a forecasted snowstorm, the hotel manager, Samantha, proactively reached out with genuine concern for our safety and comfort. She graciously offered to move us into an upgraded room in the main building and even extended the option of an additional room for our children. That level of foresight turned out to be invaluable—what was expected to be a typical storm turned into an extraordinary six feet of snowfall. Due to road and bridge closures, we ended up staying an extra day and a half, and the hotel could not have been more accommodating throughout. The warmth and kindness of the staff created an experience that went beyond hospitality—it felt personal. In fact, we formed such meaningful connections with some of the team that we now stay in touch on social media. Beyond the service, the property itself is stunning. The accommodations are luxurious, the breakfast is outstanding, and the chef goes above and beyond—personally connecting with guests to ensure every meal is just right. The amenities, including billiards, the Roman-style library, oversized chess, and event spaces, offer something for everyone and make it easy to relax and enjoy your time onsite. The location is equally perfect—right in the heart of everything, yet still offering a sense of retreat. This was more than a hotel stay—it was an experience. We will absolutely be back.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Forty 1 North, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff was amazing - from the parking attendant/bell captain, the chef, bar staff, housekeeping - everyone! Meals at the Oval Bar and Grill Restaurant were excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels were very fluffy. Two individuals we would like to shout out to are Morgan and Samantha. Oh my gosh! Morgan was just delightful, and Samantha, guest services director, was very professional and accommodating. Thank you, Forty 1 North!

It was an incrediable experience from start to finish. I was looking for a place to stay for my boyfriend's birthday and sometimes it is hard to find a good place especially when you aren't familiar with the area. After a bit of research, I came across Forty 1 North Hotel and I liked what I saw so I decided to make a reservation and it was easy to book and it was nice to recieve an email that shared some addtional services they provided. I decided to take them up on one of the services and when I contaced them, they were so helpful and friendly. Anything that I needed no matter what it was, they were amazing, either on the phone or via email. The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and very helpful. And it was in a great location and the view was beautiful. I really look forward to staying there again. (hopefully soon)
