Perfect location with an amazing rooftop and excellent dining outlets. Front of the house stafff was A+++++! The hotel was redone a few years ago and maintained its historical charm with a fresh feel to it.

The Vanderbilt sets the bar high for ALL getaways. From the moment you click “Book” you are treated with every kindness and personal touch one could imagine. The location is perfect, the staff like no other and every little detail thought through and executed with excellence. Worth every penny in every season, you’ll want to be no where else while in Newport.

I had a wonderful stay at The Vanderbilt, Auberge Resorts Collection. My room was beautiful and incredibly comfortable, and the service throughout the hotel was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was welcoming and attentive, which made the experience feel truly special. I especially loved the pool and sauna—such a relaxing way to spend time after exploring Newport. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay.

Amazing getaway weekend in Newport, RI. I stayed at this hotel a decade ago and it was lovely but since then it has become even more impressive. The renovations were very cool the staff are absolutely the best I have encountered. We had wonderful spa treatments , great dining experiences and fun activities at the hotel. I highly recommend this gem.
