Amazing place for relaxing after some busy days in vinpear. One of the best breakfast and a good menu for snacks and dinner. Great resort and excellent service from Khánha Bùi made the stay extra special. We will come back next time around ⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I set off for Vietnam just under a year ago, on my first trip abroad after a long break, I never imagined I’d end up here again. Yet here I am, having returned to L’Alya — a resort I fell for wholeheartedly and without complications — located near Nha Trang, a destination well known and loved by Russian travelers, and I’m already planning my next visit. What truly wins you over and stays with you is the way the resort’s team treats its guests: pointedly attentive, genuine, and yet never intrusive. Warm hospitality can be felt almost everywhere in Vietnam, but at this hotel you’re surrounded by it around the clock. The uniqueness of the place itself is something you remember too — an experience you genuinely want to have again. Staying in a real nature reserve, surrounded by low hills and dense forest, and encountering, on a walk or bike ride among the trees, members of a species vanishing from our planet — the langurs (a genus, perhaps? forgive me, zoologists!), a type of monkey that, if I recall correctly, belongs to the guenon family. They have long white tails, bluish faces, and grey fur. And then there are the sunsets — a real pleasure at the resort, different almost every day. Even a sky blanketed in clouds will occasionally let a ray of sunset light through, turning everything around golden, soft pink, or sometimes lilac. The villas, equipped with everything you’d expect from a 5-star hotel, are seamlessly woven into the nature-reserve concept. There’s no sense that a hotel was crudely dropped into the middle of the wilderness — rather, it feels carefully integrated, preserving, for instance, huge boulders right in the middle of a villa, with an outdoor shower placed beside them. Arriving by boat transfer, you barely notice the villas at first — so subtly are they built into the landscape. There are several types of villas: perched on the hillside (rock villa), by the lagoon (both standard and larger two-bedroom options — lagoon villa and grand lagoon villa), and, set a little further away, sea-view villas (beachfront villa). Over two years I’ve had the chance to stay in each one, and I can’t say which I liked best — every one offers its own experience. In the evening you might sip tea on the “hillside” villa, looking down from above at the trees, the soft glow of neighboring villas, the lagoon and the sea, and the protective hills beyond; or doze off to the sound of waves at the sea-view villa; or savor the seclusion of the lagoon villa. Importantly, each of them gives you a complete sense of privacy. The cuisine is varied, the food is delicious, and there’s a wide range of meal plans on offer — though there’s only one restaurant, and honestly, you don’t need more than that. You’re warmly greeted at breakfast (a buffet) with hot drinks on offer, and again at lunch and dinner. There’s also a bar a little further along, on the hotel’s sandy beach. A lovely little bonus is the afternoon cake — a fresh personal dessert, different every day, thoughtfully left in your fridge by the time you get back from lunch (the desserts aren’t overly sweet, and anyway, calories don’t count on holiday). There’s plenty to do for those who can’t sit still: I preferred to spend my time on walks, gym sessions, cycling, taking in the scenery, and the occasional excursion. A bit more on the excursions: some stay within the peninsula (like a hike that will get you sweating but truly rewards you with a view of the resort from above), while others head to nearby spots, including Nha Trang itself. The English-speaking local guide won’t feed you the tall tales and legends you might hear from other guides. There’s also paddleboarding and kayaking, boat rides out to meet the sunset, pilates, and yoga. Or you can simply order dinner on the beach. A cozy spa with attentive staff and distinctive treatments that blend different programs and practices is a place absolutely worth visiting. My tip: book the 3-hour recovery program right after you land — it will set you right in no time. Another strong point of the hotel is the personal butler service (Vũ, if you’re reading this review, a big hello to you). I was lucky not just with mine — I also saw other guests genuinely smiling at their own personal helpers. Some have called this resort “the Maldives of Vietnam.” Perhaps some will see echoes of the Maldives in the concept of private villas, butlers, and staff greeting guests at the pier with cheerful waves. But no — L’Alya has created its own distinctive resort, one where a confident 5-star experience has found a quiet corner within a nature reserve. Will I come back for a third time? Absolutely!

This is my second time returning to L'alya and as always it does not disappoint. Amazing villa, food, pool, and beach. Vu, our attentive, kind, and helpful butler made our stay even more incredible! He helped arrange our boat excursion for snorkeling. Making sure we had the best day. Vu also arranged our trip to the spa (where you get the best treatments). He took time to make sure we had all we wanted. L'alya was a fabulous, relaxing way to end our trip to Vietnam.

We were spellbound to experience such a wonderful corner of Nha Trang’s natures. L’alya is genuinely a hidden gem for a getaway from Saigon. We were warmly greeted by the staff right from the waiting lounge and were very happy with hospitality in general. Upon arrival, the tranquility captivated us right away because of how secluded and well-kept the area is. Our room was spacious and designed to be as close and blending to nature as possible. It’d be a real pity not to mention our butler Phu as he consistently goes above and beyond to deliver the best service to his guests. He personally hand-carved a wooden name tag for us as a keepsake. His thoughtful hospitality actually made me come all the way to Tripadvisor to post a quick review. It’s quite rare to find a butler whose dedication and passion to cater personalized and caring service like Phu. Spa and wellness services are also exceptional since the spa sanctuary is secluded deep within the resort’s natural greenery and we could easily enjoy the sound of birds and ocean breeze. Last but not least, the dining view during sunset was heavenly and worth every dime of experience as shown in my pictures below. The only thing that was just okay for the price was the food during our stay. I would’ve said a bit little pricey but since we were enthralled by the stunning sunset view, the overall experience still felt like a great value.

Exceptional service from all staff, including owner, chef, servers, butler, etc. Decadence and luxury at it's finest. Custom sign for our villa, personal butler service, private pool, open and outdoor shower. Gorgeous property where the jungle meets the sea, serene and calm. Perfect for a private get away with a loved one. It was like a second honeymoon for us. Best kept secret in Nha Trang. Highly recommend.”
