Pillar and Post

My husband and I stayed at Pillar & Post with our dog. It’s a wonderful property and within walking distance to Old Town and Lake Ontario. The grounds are lovely, the food is delicious, and the staff is gracious. I highly recommend this property. We would come again.

This is my favourite spa hotel, the atmosphere, the food, the room everything is amazing, me and my husband spent 2 nights at this amazing place,we love it and will return again around Christmas time❤️

We have stayed at several of the Vintage hotels. Been a while since we have been to the Pillar & Post. Would say that updates have not been done to the rooms in a while. It was a short 2 night stay. Check-in was smooth and friendly. Room was fairly clean, but could have used a vacuum. The room was dated, paint was peeling and speckled in some areas. Rust was showing in the bathroom. Layout of the room was nice and the bed was comfortable. A charging station would be good too. We had dinner in the Cannery on one of the nights. Food and service was good, and they had a decent wine selection. Breakfast on the other hand was average at best. Eggs were over seasoned with salt, and some of the plates in the buffet area were not clean. The hotel overall was very nice, great character, lovely grounds. Staff were very friendly.

Superb service from all staff. Quality food. Incredible pool facility indoor and outdoor. The gardens across the street were so relaxing one could rest the whole day and still be served from the P&P kiosk. Couple this experience with the Shaw Festival (almost in walking distance) and downtown Niagara on the Lake (Ontario) for a great holiday. People with mobility issues should request an in tub chair rather than a bench. All things considered we look forward to our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a great hotel, close to many eateries, shops and wineries. The hotel knows how to treat guests, everything from check in to checkout was wonderful. We will be visiting again.
