Not as good as it once was
We stayed at the Pillar & Post for the weekend. We haven’t been for a few years. I was surprised that it has not been kept up. The food was average, the rooms were average, staff were complacent and the establishment needs repair.

Cozy, clean, and affordable!
Romantic, rustic atmosphere, clean room! The garden was really sweet, we went on a walk in the morning. A wonderful resort, we'll definitely come back and spend more time here.

Girls getaway
We did a one night girls getaway which included the wine tour and dinner. Our room was spacious and clean, the wine tour was fun and informative and the quality of our dinner amazing. Big potions, fresh, and delicious. We used the hot springs and outdoor pool as well which was clean. More food on the wine tour would have been good, we were hungry when we got to the hotel as it was over the lunch hour. All and all good value for the price we paid.

Lovely experience for a couples getaway!!!
Highly recommend for a couples retreat! We celebrated our anniversary at Pillar & Post with access to the hot springs, indoor and outdoor pool and sauna. We were treated like royalty! You will melt in their plush robes and admire the beauty of the gardens with a fire to end the evening. We booked the bed and breakfast package- breakfast was wonderful with an omelette station to boot. We chose to walk dt for dinner and drinks (a few blocks away) and to explore the shops, however we regret not just staying on property and adding the three course dinner package at the cannery. Don’t think twice- book the trip!

Birthday stay
Fabulous stay for a birthday. Staff were excellent. The hotel is beautiful and the food was amazing. We will be back again
