Classic and posh - Piller and Post

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

The experience is always top notch. The staff at the desk, Cannery restaurant and Cafe were super friendly , down to earth and even fun. The spa gave us a similar experience. The food is amazing - kudos to the chef. The price point s fair for the quality they provide. My daughter and I go every year. I rated a 4 as we had noisy neighbours keeping us up all night. Out of P&Ps control though.

Lovely weekend getaway! Spa was great! We ate at both restaurants on site and enjoyed all of our food and drinks!

A must-try experience!

This was our 2nd stay at Pillar and Post for what has turned into an annual post-holiday trip with friends because of how much fun we have. Last year we stayed just one night and were excited to make it two nights this time. Everything from check-in to check-out was perfect - their entire team is so accommodating and friendly! We toured some phenomenal wineries located close by in town, but we were honestly more excited to get back to the hotel to enjoy the pools, hot tubs, sauna, restaurants/bars, spa, and relax in our impeccably clean suite. Walking around in those plush robes for a day is a total vibe! :) We had amazing spa treatments and loved the outdoor hot spring experience (which is included/free). Brunch in the Cannery was 100% worth every penny - the food was an eclectic variety and there really wasn't any bite that wasn't delicious. We also loved the ability to simply text "Ivy" (their 24/7 concierge) with a couple questions and things we needed for the room and were met with surprisingly fast response/delivery. Pillar and Post is truly a destination - they make it hard to leave!

Beautiful Hotel and Friendly Staff

This was our 3rd trip to Pillar and Post. We arrived early since we had massages booked and our room was ready at 11am! Check in was fast and easy. The room was clean and spacious. We had a room with a fireplace which is nice. The bathrobes are wonder and soft. We were able to use the hot springs right away which was great. We also utilized the outdoor pool which and indoor hot tub. All are wonderful and relaxing. Lunch at Lounges was yummy and great service. Checking into spa was pleasant as well. I have had pedicures in the past here and loved them. I tried an aromatherapy massage this time and my husband also had a massage. His therapist talked through the entire massage and I could hear that through the thin walls. My therapist Andrew was nice but I did not enjoy the massage. Chaotic is the only word I can use to describe his style. I did not feel relaxed during the whole 50 minutes. I will stick to pedicures in the future. The hotel is nicely decorated for the holidays and its a nice retreat during the winter.
