We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Pillar and Post! The grounds were stunning and the pools were gorgeous and refreshing! Will definitely be going back!

This was my first experience at this property and it was really amazing. All credits to Mandi, Sri (the guest experience managers) and the team for making it memorable.

Currently staying for one night in a one bedroom king and although it is spacious, we can’t get over how much the room needs a total refurbishment. Furniture is tired and old with markings and dents. Our curtains are grossly stained (see picture), the doors to the bedroom and bathroom really need a good cleaning first then a paint job. The room has a musty smell if you don’t put the loud air conditioner on. The shower had no light inside it and the shower head looks like it’s from the 70s. The tv has the worst reception and most channels don’t work. We have stayed at multiple vintage hotels and I can honestly say this one is our biggest disappointment. The pool area is nice, although a bit on the smaller side. The staff here are lovely but the rack rate is $600 a night! It should be half of that! Thankfully we got the end of summer deal but we will not return to this hotel.

We were extremely disappointed with The Pillar & Post. We booked this hotel as part of a Canadian Tour to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Our understanding from the website was that this hotel was 5 star luxury as stated on their website. At best it was a very average 3 star hotel and definitely not luxury. We were given a room that was very shabby, air con unit sounded like an airplane was taking off and it was situated out with the hotel building and represented a cheap motel within the parking lot! The hotel is very much in need of refurbishment. We did complain and asked to be moved but this was not possible. $100 per night was deducted from our room rate but this didn’t represent what we paid to stay in what we thought was a luxury property’s. Their website is very misleading and I would not recommend staying at this property. I must however praise the waiting staff in the restaurants and pool area as they were all extremely nice and very helpful.
