Superb service from all staff. Quality food. Incredible pool facility indoor and outdoor. The gardens across the street were so relaxing one could rest the whole day and still be served from the P&P kiosk. Couple this experience with the Shaw Festival (almost in walking distance) and downtown Niagara on the Lake (Ontario) for a great holiday. People with mobility issues should request an in tub chair rather than a bench. All things considered we look forward to our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a great hotel, close to many eateries, shops and wineries. The hotel knows how to treat guests, everything from check in to checkout was wonderful. We will be visiting again.

The hotel is beautiful on the outside, adorned with fresh flowers everywhere. The inside is warm and cozy and smells like a spa. Rooms are adorable and very clean with comfortable beds. Everyone there was so nice. The outdoor and indoor pools are a big bonus, as well as the beautiful gardens across the street. They had a free shuttle to the old town NOTL. We ate at the restaurant here, and it was also excellent food and amazing ambience. I really enjoyed it and would love to return some day.

The hotel was so beautifully kept with the garden grounds and appointed with the amenities we were looking for with an indoor and outdoor pool (both the perfect temperatures), as well as the hot springs that were so relaxing. The Cannery Restaurant had a great selection and the food was cooked perfectly (Bacon wrapped tenderloin and the Prosciutto wrapped Pork Tenderloin). Dessert (Chocolate Marquise) was a showstopper and so decadent. The service was attentive from everyone we came across and the room was very well kept by Amber. The walk through the gardens was lovely as well. The shuttle service to the Downtown area and the Shaw Festival made getting around so easy. We were able to park and just relax. They even had four charging stations for electric vehicles which was pleasantly surprising as well. Would definitely return here for a romantic getaway.

My wife and I spent the afternoon at the Pillar and Post spa, and unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed by the condition of the facilities. Having visited over the years, it is hard to believe how much the property has deteriorated. There appears to have been very little effort to improve or maintain the facilities to the standard you would expect from a spa of this calibre. The outdoor pool area was overcrowded, with far too many chairs and tables making it difficult to walk around comfortably. The pool itself felt too small for the number of guests, was unsupervised, and was not particularly clean. The water was murky, with dirt and leaves floating around. There was also an outdoor fireplace that had a strong smell of what appeared to be leaking gas, which was both unpleasant and concerning. Service around the outdoor area was inadequate. There did not appear to be enough serving staff, and dirty glasses and plates were left scattered around, attracting wasps. The outdoor hot springs area was equally disappointing. The facilities looked old and poorly maintained, and the water was dirty, oily, and murky. The area was also filled with loud and unruly guests, making it difficult to relax. The indoor quiet area was anything but quiet. There was no apparent staff presence to enforce the expectation of a quiet environment, so guests were able to talk loudly and disturb others. The furniture was also dirty and several pieces appeared to be in poor structural condition. The men's change room was dirty, with towels thrown around the area. The only shower was barely functioning, with a weak trickle of water and a damaged shower head. Overall, the condition of the facilities was absolutely unacceptable. What should have been a relaxing afternoon turned into a very disappointing experience. I would not return, nor would I recommend this spa to anyone in its current condition. In my opinion, a major renovation and significant improvement in maintenance, cleanliness, staffing, and guest supervision are urgently needed before this property will be worth visiting again.
