For decades newlyweds and romantics have flocked to Niagara Falls for memorable getaways. These days they are sequestering themselves behind the doors of the Sterling Inn & Spa, the only boutique hotel to grace this epic region. Built in 1928 and once the home to Bordens Dairy, it was eventually converted into a nightclub and restaurant during the 1980s, and is now part of the Preferred Boutique portfolio and part of the Preferred Hotel Group. Its transition into a hotel started in 2005 with original architectural elements, such as the exposed ceiling beams and three-story milk-bottle entrance, incorporated into the new design. The result is a hybrid hotel combining the best of a luxury resort with the intimacy of a fine inn. Rooms tend to be spacious and thoughtfully appointed with oversize beds, roaring fireplaces, wet bars, and ample-size bathrooms equipped with raining shower heads and body jets. Suites offer not one, but two rooms with sitting areas and plush bedrooms.

My girlfriend and I booked a last minute getaway and chose the Couples Retreat Package which included one night stay, 3 course dinner, breakfast in bed and a spa treatment!! The room was fantastic!! We had the King Suite with Jacuzzi! only downside is there wasn’t a Smart TV in the room. That’s honestly the only one thing I could say that wasn’t to our expectations. Everything else was absolutely amazing!! The dinner was phenomenal and we could not stop talking about it the whole way home!!! For the spa treatment, we booked a couples massage and left the room feeling like jello!! We love this little gem of a spot and can’t wait to book more mini vacays here!!!

Spacious clean rooms. Went to a concert at OLG Stage and stayed overnight away from the noise. Complimentary Breakfast in bed was delicious, cooked just right and served at our requested time. Price may be a little higher then some nearby but this hotel is definitely worth it. Will be back again.

Outstanding experience. Overall excellent service and accommodations. Great Value. Debra, the manager, was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and provided us information on the surrounding area. Front desk was efficient, polite, and very helpful. Definitely our favorite location, away from all the hustle and bustle of the main strip. We walked to the Festival of lights and Fireworks, casino, restaurants and bars. Breakfast every morning a bonus. They totally accommodated our dietary needs with quality alternatives. Jura espresso machine in the lobby and lemon water was a pleasant surprise. The gym was clean and machines in working order. Looks like it was recently updated. Looking forward to staying at Sterling Inn & Spa on our next visit to Niagara.

Best place we've stayed at in the Falls! Carpet-free room, nice lighting, incredibly clean, and the breakfast in bed was delicious.
