For decades newlyweds and romantics have flocked to Niagara Falls for memorable getaways. These days they are sequestering themselves behind the doors of the Sterling Inn & Spa, the only boutique hotel to grace this epic region. Built in 1928 and once the home to Bordens Dairy, it was eventually converted into a nightclub and restaurant during the 1980s, and is now part of the Preferred Boutique portfolio and part of the Preferred Hotel Group. Its transition into a hotel started in 2005 with original architectural elements, such as the exposed ceiling beams and three-story milk-bottle entrance, incorporated into the new design. The result is a hybrid hotel combining the best of a luxury resort with the intimacy of a fine inn. Rooms tend to be spacious and thoughtfully appointed with oversize beds, roaring fireplaces, wet bars, and ample-size bathrooms equipped with raining shower heads and body jets. Suites offer not one, but two rooms with sitting areas and plush bedrooms.

The front desk staff provided excellent service. Such a delightful experience having breakfast delivered directly to our room. Would love to stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Every staff member was so attentive, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel very well cared for. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and having breakfast served in our room was such a lovely touch, it truly made our stay even more special. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, close to everything. We left our car at the hotel parking lot and were able to walk to the downtown area and the Falls, which was incredibly convenient. We highly recommend this hotel for both couples and families. Looking back at our trip, choosing this hotel was definitely one of our best decisions! We would absolutely stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband and I LOVED every aspect of our stay at the Sterling Inn and Spa! From the calming, spa-like scent when we entered the lobby to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff to the spacious king room and enormous steam shower, we felt comfortable and pampered. Breakfast delivered to our room every morning was such a treat, and we could watch the nightly Niagara Falls fireworks from the parking lot! Perhaps our favorite part was the location. Close enough to walk to all of the Niagara Falls attractions but just on the outskirts so we didn’t feel stifled and overcrowded. We will absolutely stay at the Sterling Inn & Spa again!

This was such a nice surprise. It's a boutique hotel with affordable pricing. The location is great. One street off the drag, and comfortable walking distance to the Falls and Clifton Hill. There are two (2) WeGo bus stops within a 5 minute walk. The staff are fabulous...helpful and professional. The suite was spacious and so clean. The jacuzzi was a nice treat after so much walking. Breakfast in bed is 10-stars (but you must like their selection). Let me talk about the restaurant. We were so hesitant about eating in a hotel basement....I regret we waited until the last night to eat there. It's niche and the chef is borderline Michelin star worthy.

I stayed at the sterling Inn and spa on the 18- 20 April 2026 for my fiancée birthday. This was one of the most elegant and positional stay we have ever had. The front desk agents were amazing and welcoming. Our check in experience was exceptional, not to mention the room we got. The room was amazing, well arranged and excellently comfortable. I would stay there again no matter the cost. As a matter of a fact we are planning to go back sometime next year. I would certainly recommend anyone to Stay at Sterling Inn and Spa. Eli
