About the Hotel

For decades newlyweds and romantics have flocked to Niagara Falls for memorable getaways. These days they are sequestering themselves behind the doors of the Sterling Inn & Spa, the only boutique hotel to grace this epic region. Built in 1928 and once the home to Bordens Dairy, it was eventually converted into a nightclub and restaurant during the 1980s, and is now part of the Preferred Boutique portfolio and part of the Preferred Hotel Group. Its transition into a hotel started in 2005 with original architectural elements, such as the exposed ceiling beams and three-story milk-bottle entrance, incorporated into the new design. The result is a hybrid hotel combining the best of a luxury resort with the intimacy of a fine inn. Rooms tend to be spacious and thoughtfully appointed with oversize beds, roaring fireplaces, wet bars, and ample-size bathrooms equipped with raining shower heads and body jets. Suites offer not one, but two rooms with sitting areas and plush bedrooms.

Romantic get away

We highly recommend Sterling Inn and Spa and the AG Cuisine Restaurant. It is located one block from all the excitement of Clifton Hill and Niagara Falls, but still manages to be a quiet romantic escape. The accommodations are very luxurious and extremely clean. The food from AG is delicious and a work of art in its presentation. We asked to take our dessert back to our room and even in the "to go" boxes it was beautiful and delicious. All of the staff, from the front desk, EVERYONE at AG, the gentleman that set up our TV, and the one that delivered our breakfast in bed were professional and delightful. We definitely will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Sterling Inn as a couple! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Our favorite part was definitely the jet bathtub — it was amazing and made the stay feel extra special and relaxing. The room was cozy, well-maintained, and had a great atmosphere for a couple’s stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend Sterling Inn to couples looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We would happily come back again! ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Amazing Stay at Sterling Inn & Spa! Our stay at Sterling Inn & Spa in Niagara Falls was simply amazing! This chic boutique-style hotel was everything we could have hoped for. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely immaculate—warm, attentive, and exceptional from start to finish. Our room was huge, beautifully comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the best parts was the location. The hotel is conveniently close to everything in the Niagara Falls visitor area, and we were able to walk from the hotel to Niagara Falls, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We truly loved our experience and would highly recommend Sterling Inn & Spa to anyone visiting Niagara Falls. In fact, we’re already planning our second trip back! Simply put: beautiful hotel, phenomenal service, amazing location, and an unforgettable stay. 10/10! 💜💜💜

I cannot say enough good things about Sterling Inn and Spa. It is a beautiful place and the staff is top notch . Love that it is close enough to walk to a lot of activities but far enough not to hear the tourists noise. We also appreciated the wonderful breakfast in bed. The chef did a great job and made it easy to customize our needs. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making this an amazing experience

We stayed here for one night visiting the falls. We definitely recommend this hotel. We got a free upgrade to a very beautiful room with a hot tub. The lobby and room looked really beautiful and the room was very clean. We will go back to visit in September and will again stay at this very nice hotel. Friendly reception and breakfast is served in the room, luxurious right? 😉
