Great Stay In Nice
I recently stayed at the Anantara Plaza Hotel for a group trip to the French Riviera. The hotel is central to many restaurants and shopping. The staff was courteous and very accommodating.

Very disappointed and definitely not 5-star worthy
For a "5-star hotel" all the rooms I stayed in had mold in the bathrooms, stains on the wall paper, items like the TV that didn't work. I was transferred rooms three times and even the last room had mold and I simply requested a deep clean so I would not have to move again. The beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. I would never have paid the amount I did to stay at this hotel and was very surprised this is considered a 5-star hotel. Every day, there was a new problem with the room - room service banging on my door at 1:00AM and getting the wrong room, stains on bed sheets, TV didn't work, the list goes on. Unless you get an incredible deal, do not waste your money staying here.

Top stay in Nice
One of the best hotels in Nice. Great and spacious rooms, friendly and professional service, amazing location. A must-try is the restaurant on the rooftop!

Big dissapointment
Its was our second stay in this hotel. Because we loved it last time. Unfortunately this time was not so good. We booked garden Suite room but instead got view on the opposide house. They changed our room for smaller one with better view but not the suite. No welcome sweets, no flowers…. Nothing…. And on top of all they charged my credit card in final bill for the goods for mini bar that we did not take…. Small detail , but unpleasant….. I suppose to come to Nice next month, but not to this hotel……

My stay
I had booked premium water view room with balcony, once I got the room, it looked soliciting and small. Balcony was a small 10 inch wide strip and nearly no water view, u had to stretch your neck way outside to see the water from some far angle. I paid extra 700 Euros on top of what I already had paid to be moved to room 517 on 5th floor. Room was bigger with much better view with a nice balcony but guess what?!? Restaurant and rooftop bar was on top on level 6!!! You heard chairs and tables dragging none stop above your head during breakfast staring from 7 am till dinner almost 12am and this room is 1800 euros per night!!!
