We know how important atmosphere and comfort are when traveling. And we’ve made it our mission: 112 luxurious, refined rooms, a spa center with heated indoor and outdoor pools, as well as three restaurants, a rooftop with solarium and pool, and meeting rooms. Every space is meticulously designed. All in true Boscolo style. The Boscolo Hotel, prestigiously awarded the UNESCO World Heritage label, stands out with its magnificent classified Belle Epoque facade, an architectural masterpiece that embodies timeless elegance and cultural heritage. Choose from Mediterranean cuisine on the rooftop, gourmet at Angelo’s and international at Genesi’s. Our star products: Italian truffles, oil, grappas and ice creams selected directly by the Boscolo family. Start the day with our breakfast, which ends at 12:00 pm on the Genesi terrace, and continue with culinary tastings in our two restaurants, Angelo and Bclub.

Lisa at the front desk was amazing. She helped us with parking, gave us lots of great ideas for what to do around the French Riviera, helped us plan our days, and even made dinner reservations for us. She was so friendly and helpful and really made our stay easier. Thank you Lisa!

Lovely hotel in a nice area. The all-white interior can feel a bit medical, but generally it feels good. Good service at the desk and the restauarnt. We enjoyed our stay. Probably a 4.5 to be honest. Would we stay here again? Would probably look around first, but yes in principle.

Excellent concierge, first class service at the front desk and housekeeping. Excellent food, rooftop, pool and bar.

Unfortunately, my stay at the Boscolo Hotel Nice was very disappointing. My sister and I specifically booked a twin room because we wanted separate beds, but we were given a room with one queen bed. When we raised the issue, the staff were very unaccommodating and simply told us there were no twin rooms available. For a hotel marketed as five star, the experience did not feel luxurious at all. There was also a small fly in the room that was very annoying. Unbelievable! The spa has an indoor pool and sauna, and there is a small rooftop pool, but there are no loungers for relaxing by the pool, only chairs. The hotel is extremely expensive for what it offers, and in my opinion the overall experience felt much closer to a three star hotel than a five star property. I would not stay here again.

We’ve just returned from our stay and overall we did enjoy the hotel, but I would personally rate it as a good 4-star rather than a true 5-star experience. The positives first: the reception area is absolutely beautiful and the location is fantastic. The spa is stunning and the gentleman working there was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff throughout the hotel were actually one of the best things about our stay. Mohammed at the rooftop pool was particularly lovely, as was the lady working around the rooftop pool area, who couldn’t have done enough for us. Unfortunately, we had a few issues from the moment we arrived. We had booked a Superior Room, but on arrival we were immediately encouraged to upgrade for an additional €100 per night, which was then quickly reduced to €80 per night. We were shown a room at the back of the hotel which was very dark, had no balcony and really wasn’t what I felt I had booked. While we were actually being shown the room, water suddenly started pouring through the ceiling and onto the bed! We were immediately taken out of the room and, to the hotel’s credit, were given a complimentary upgrade to Room 214. Room 214 was lovely, with a balcony, a nice view and a beautiful bath, and we were very happy with the room overall. However, there were still little things that you wouldn’t really expect from a 5-star hotel — cracks in the flooring, a corroded bath plug and a shower that could definitely do with updating. Nothing disastrous, but enough to make it feel more 4-star than 5-star. We also ordered pizzas through room service one evening and unfortunately they arrived cold in the middle. We were both unwell during the night afterwards. When we told the hotel, the staff were genuinely concerned and immediately removed the food from our bill, which we appreciated. The biggest disappointment for us was the rooftop pool and the advertised beach club. The photographs of the rooftop pool are quite misleading. It is much, much smaller than it appears online and there are no normal sun loungers. There is one day bed, which can also be booked by external visitors rather than being reserved for hotel guests, and the remaining seating is wooden deck chairs. This means that unless you manage to reserve the one day bed in advance, you are sitting upright rather than being able to lie around the pool. That really needs to be made clearer in the hotel photographs and description. Having said that, the rooftop pool itself is lovely, the service up there was excellent and we really enjoyed our lunch. We were also under the impression from the hotel advertising that we would have access to an associated beach club. In reality, it is away from the hotel, costs around €50 per person and was fully booked when we tried to use it. So I definitely wouldn’t book this hotel assuming that a beach club experience is readily available as part of your stay. The hotel did make a genuine effort to put things right. We were given a complimentary lunch and breakfast to compensate for the problems we experienced, which was very kind and we really appreciated the gesture. Overall, the location, beautiful reception, gorgeous spa and genuinely lovely staff are the hotel’s strongest points. I would stay again, but I would definitely choose one of the better rooms with a balcony and would avoid the darker rooms at the back of the hotel. I would also recommend contacting the hotel before arriving if using the rooftop pool is important to you, particularly if you want the day bed. A lovely hotel in many ways, with some fantastic staff, but based on our experience and the condition/facilities, I would describe it as a good 4-star hotel rather than a 5-star.
