We know how important atmosphere and comfort are when traveling. And we’ve made it our mission: 112 luxurious, refined rooms, a spa center with heated indoor and outdoor pools, as well as three restaurants, a rooftop with solarium and pool, and meeting rooms. Every space is meticulously designed. All in true Boscolo style. The Boscolo Hotel, prestigiously awarded the UNESCO World Heritage label, stands out with its magnificent classified Belle Epoque facade, an architectural masterpiece that embodies timeless elegance and cultural heritage. Choose from Mediterranean cuisine on the rooftop, gourmet at Angelo’s and international at Genesi’s. Our star products: Italian truffles, oil, grappas and ice creams selected directly by the Boscolo family. Start the day with our breakfast, which ends at 12:00 pm on the Genesi terrace, and continue with culinary tastings in our two restaurants, Angelo and Bclub.

We recently stayed at Boscolo Nice Hotel & Spa and unfortunately it did not meet expectations for a 5* property. Service throughout the stay was very slow. We ordered hot chocolates and waited around 40 minutes, only for them to arrive cold. Coffee service at breakfast was also poor — we ordered before even sitting down and still waited a long time for them to arrive we’d even finished eating before they did. Several advertised facilities were unavailable, including the top floor pool area, yet there was no reduction in price. There was also ongoing work in the indoor pool area, with many jets not functioning. The minibar, despite being included, was not refilled during our stay. The room itself was disappointing. The “city view” was in reality overlooking neighbouring back gardens, which felt misleading. The bathroom layout offered no privacy at all, there was nothing to cover the doorway, not even a simple curtain, meaning you could not bathe in private. There was also no extractor fan in the toilet area of the bedroom, which made the situation even more uncomfortable than it already did. The water throughout the hotel also had a strong chlorine smell. Noise was a major issue during our stay. There was constant decorating work taking place outside the room, with ongoing banging throughout the day which made it impossible to relax or rest. The surrounding area also felt uncomfortable. There are a large number of homeless people in the immediate area around the hotel. On one occasion, directly outside the entrance, we were approached and bothered by a homeless individual which made us feel very uneasy. Positives were the breakfast selection, which offered a good variety including fresh fruit. The staff were polite and spoke good English, and the turndown service was a nice touch with chocolates left on the pillow. Overall, this did not feel like a 5* experience and was disappointing for the price paid. I would rate it closer to a 3*+. The building has so much potential but poorly used.

A very good hotel, but it could be great! We took 4 rooms for 5 nights. Positives: 1. Location. 2. Cleanliness. 3. Service. 4. Boutique style. 5. Spa - pool, sauna and steam room. 6. Bedrooms are spacious with plenty of room for clothes. 7. Having a pool table. Negatives 1. There is no really nice area to sit and have drinks, read or have afternoon tea. The foyer could be easily redesigned to address this. 2. The breakfast area feels like you’re eating in a bar and is very basic - surprising given the status of hotel. 3. The pool cues are poor - in fact there is only 1. They can be bought off Amazon for €20! 4. On 4 out of 6-days there were no towels in the spa, so you had to take your room ones - this was particular poor given how nice the spa is. 5. The bathrooms in showers in 3 out of 4 rooms are not private - the toilet and shower are open plan with a sliding door on the toilet and a curtain that does not cover the shower glass - this is an issue for friends sharing rooms.

The Nice location is excellent, close to the centre and transport. The rooms are large with all facilities required and are of good value

When we chose this hotel, the online presentation of Boscolo made it look like a luxury property with its own beach club, pool, and rooftop terrace - Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The pool is extremely small, with very few sunbeds and daybeds available. The lobby is beautiful, but the staff behaved strangely. Our room was acceptable, but felt worn and a bit tired. One staff member even asked us, in a strange tone, whether we were actually staying at the hotel and why we were sitting in the lobby late at night. It felt rude and uncomfortable, especially for two well-travelled women who are used to high-quality service. The same employee came into our room uninvited when we called reception to ask for a bottle opener for our Coke, and he told us that the hotel only had his personal opener. Very odd. Also, the hotel does not have a luggage scale, which is surprising for a place marketed as “luxury.” When browsing the hotel online, you get the impression of a high-end luxury experience, but in reality it is not. The only positive note was the housekeeping staff — they were friendly and hardworking, and we appreciated that.

This review relates to the appetisers and drinks we had last night. It was meant to be Italian appetisers but what was presented was a doe light substance and focacia bread and small meat in a salty crumb base which was used able for an upmarket hotel this certainly is unacceptable. Perhaps you need to google like I did what is Italian appetisers I did very poor
