About the Hotel
The former residence of the Swedish Royal Family, Chateau Eza is an enchanting 14th century hotel set in the thousand-year-old French medieval village of Eze. Perched 1,300 feet above the Mediterranean Sea, this exquisite ten-room member of Lifestyle Hotels & Resorts opened its doors again in April 2004 following an extensive renovation by the Stein Group, which has added up-to-the-moment amenities without sacrificing the hotel's medieval charms. A wonderful hotel in spectacular setting.
We only stayed for one night in the junior suite, but wished we had stayed for longer. The suite and exterior terrace are beautifully appointed, and the view of course is simply stunning. All of the staff from the baggage check in valet to restaurant waiters were all very friendly, efficient and cheerful. Special mention to the receptionist who checked us in Monday morning who is a credit to the hotel. The bar, terrace and restaurant are superb and would be hard to improve. Your chef is amazing. The room was very quiet, we were very surprised at how relaxing it was considering how busy the village is with tourists. Our only suggestion might be a small milk in the fridge as we do not drink espresso. I'm sure we could have asked for some milk. Overall a wonderful experience, we will be back. Thank you.

Nightmare
It was an absolute nightmare — the worst experience I’ve ever had. There was a disco going on in the hotel area all night, and getting any sleep was completely impossible. Never again!
