This is the kind of hotel most people only dream about, and we were fortunate to stay on property almost a week. Words and pictures cannot do it justice. Staff here treat guests like royalty. Rooms are immaculately clean at all times, and freshened twice a day (though you can refuse service if you want). The property is like something out of a fairytale, with the glorious hiking trail around Cap Ferrat right outside the gate. The spa - open to all - includes an indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, plus individual showers and changing rooms. The outdoor pool - accessed by a funicular ride overlooking the Mediterranean - is breathtaking. Concierge goes above and beyond to help with everything from train tips to medical emergencies, as though it were all equally important. The room is bigger than any room in my house, the marble bathroom equally spacious. And THE FOOD! The food here is better than any we ate at any other restaurant in France - and we tried several! The highlight is breakfast, where you are whisked away to eat whatever you want, all of it fantastic, served by people who know your name quickly and remember your order the next day. As a bonus, they provided so many gluten-free options, I couldn't possibly consume them all: plus the best gluten-free pancake in the universe. My husband (not gluten-free) will be talking about the French toast for the rest of his life. Room service, if you want, is so seamless and delightful, it's like a whisper. The beds are more comfortable than my own bed at home - and I have an extremely comfortable bed. It's something about the bedding or the mattress, I don't know. Staff speaks English as though it were there first language, and translates to French so quickly, it's amazing to hear. As I told someone during our stay, this is the kind of place where, if the wind is blowing and your shutters are moving, staff shows up at your door to secure them, lest they be a bother to anyone. If you CAN afford to stay here, DO. For us, this was a once in a lifetime experience.

Super premium well decorated and conceived property. The vibe is very chic and appropriate for the French Riviera. The staff is world class A-Z!!!

Loved our stay at this storied location. Our stay began on the right foot thanks to the charming Theo who welcomed us and settled us into our Terrace Junior Suite. Terrace rooms located across the entrance to the main building in a modern addition. Stunning room and bathroom with large terrace. Wonderful room service for breakfast on terrace. Main dining option beautiful with exceptional service and options. If traveling as couple, try to avoid be seated by large tables as they tend to be large families with children! Club Dauphin the pool and lunch restaurant is staffed by a wonderful team. Food and beverage options are wonderful and top-notch. The boutique’s offerings are A Plus!! Best shopping we came across in area. FYI-locker rooms and changing facilities accessed through boutique-not well publicized Looking forward to returning!

Outstanding hotel and service. We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This hotel is special. The grounds are impressive and the service is impeccable. They have live music at night in the lobby bar and the singer is so talented. The pool and view are lovely. Highly recommend

We visited the Grand Hotel for lunch on the terrace. It was truly exceptional (the setting, the atmosphere and the food were wonderful). We did feel however that the attentive service we had experienced at the beginning of the lunch petered out towards the end - which was disappointing. Overall though, a wonderful experience. PMcC
