At the Hotel La Pérouse, you are in an extremely uncommon place; it's the address you will keep to yourself so that it doesn't become too popular and too busy. The view on the Angel Bay is spectacular: it will take your breath away. Located in a unique setting, nestled on the Castle Hill, just at the end of the promenade des Anglais, a short walk from the market of the Cours Saleya in the old Nice, just behind the port. At the foot of the hotel, the "Castel" private beach will welcome you for a dip in the sea or to sunbathe. Under the lemon trees and in the exclusive and cool atmosphere of a genuine Mediterranean garden, our restaurant Le Patio offers exquisite lunches and dinners reminiscent of a refined Provencal cuisine. sed on fresh farm products, you will love the refined cuisine overflowing with freshness and your taste buds will travel through these Southern aromas. On the most beautiful perched terrace of Nice, surrounded by century-old lemon trees and the Riviera’s million fragrances, you will fall for this serene haven. Our chef focuses on seasonal products and this is why the restaurant menu may vary depending on the seasons.

I LOVED this hotel. 1st the location is perfect. On the edge of Old Town and across the street from the Castel beach. Next the Rooms and Views are stunning. The rooms with a patio and views of the sea and town are picture perfect. Then there is the staff. 5 Star! We never passed a staff member without being recognized and greeted. Not just a smile and bonjour, but an authentic concern for how are stay was going. The front desk staff gave use great advice from restaurants to transportation around the coast. The servers at the breakfast buffet knew our coffee and egg preferences after the first day. The dinner was fresh, creative and memorable, without being "fussy".

La Perouse continues to provide us with most enjoyable and relaxing breaks. With an excellent location on the sea front and next to the castle hill and old Nice, the hotel offers air conditioned rooms with panoramic views of the Mediterranean. In addition the splendid swimming pool provides and attractive way to lessen the effects of high temperatures. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, helpful and cheerful. We noticed this on arrival at Reception where we could always count on friendly and helpful advice and information. Everyone we met gave the impression that they were happy in their work and wanted us to be as comfortable as possible. Le Patio restaurant is amazing from the point of view of setting, quality of the food and service. Hamza and Andre worked very hard to ensure that we enjoyed our meals and it was nice to renew acquaintances with Fabian and Julian. Our room was well equipped and comfortable and offered stunning views of the sea and sea front. The cleaning was of a high standard and was timed to suit our needs. Thank you to everyone at La Perouse for providing us with such an enjoyable stay.

Lovely room with balcony overlooking the sea. Great location very central. Lovely terrace for breakfast and meals. Breakfast okay. Hotel layout a little complicated. Dinner - some dishes very nice especially the Ravioli and Lamb. Seabass was very nice but a very small portion. Room service very good and very clean. Most staff very helpful and friendly with one exception. Downside it is a four star hotel and not cheap - if you have a late flight no showers or rooms available to change apart from a cold shower by the pool and the toilet. Pool nice temperature but the sunbeds kept collapsing on guests which was a little annoying. Very good room service

Most travelers use a hotel room for two reasons, to sleep and take a shower. The twin beds that slide apart when you try to snuggle with your partner is no good. Shower water temperature that is constantly going up and down is also no good. Trying to take a shower behind half a piece of glass is simply awful! Put up a shower curtain or a full piece of glass!
