At the Hotel La Pérouse, you are in an extremely uncommon place; it's the address you will keep to yourself so that it doesn't become too popular and too busy. The view on the Angel Bay is spectacular: it will take your breath away. Located in a unique setting, nestled on the Castle Hill, just at the end of the promenade des Anglais, a short walk from the market of the Cours Saleya in the old Nice, just behind the port. At the foot of the hotel, the "Castel" private beach will welcome you for a dip in the sea or to sunbathe. Under the lemon trees and in the exclusive and cool atmosphere of a genuine Mediterranean garden, our restaurant Le Patio offers exquisite lunches and dinners reminiscent of a refined Provencal cuisine. sed on fresh farm products, you will love the refined cuisine overflowing with freshness and your taste buds will travel through these Southern aromas. On the most beautiful perched terrace of Nice, surrounded by century-old lemon trees and the Riviera’s million fragrances, you will fall for this serene haven. Our chef focuses on seasonal products and this is why the restaurant menu may vary depending on the seasons.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hotel La Pérouse and its exceptional team. I stayed for a brief visit en route to Cinque Terre and the rest of Italy, and the experience exceeded every expectation. Before my arrival, I received prompt and thoughtful communication that made the process seamless. After a short ride from the Nice airport, I arrived at the stunning La Pérouse, perched on a cliffside overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. I was warmly welcomed and provided with helpful insight into the property. During my visit, I was able to tour several of their beautiful rooms—each offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. My stay was filled with personalized touches, a fantastic breakfast, and top-tier amenities. The front desk team was incredibly friendly and offered great recommendations for local shops, cafés, and markets. The location is ideal—just a short and scenic walk to Old Town and its charming Christmas market, which was especially festive during my stay. Of course, the property would be equally beautiful any time of year. I only wish I had more time to enjoy the rooftop views and the stunning pool area.

Had and excellent stay at La Perouse. The location is really nice, right on the edge of the promenade and old town. Easy walk over to the marina or new town. About a 25 min walk to either Nice train station. Hotel staff was very friendly and fun to chat with as I came and went.

It is a beautiful hotel, very well-located, and with an amazing staff. The view of the sea is gorgeous. I think that if the bed had been a real queen-size, rather than two small beds put together, our stay would have been perfect.

The room was not clean. It had what appeared to be shaving hairs in the sink. They were black so they stood out. It was so obvious and all around the sink that it was clear that the room wasn't either cleaned or cleaned on the surface level with very little care. I was afraid to look in the bed and sheets. Found curly black hairs there. Again, because they are black they really stood out. The sheets also appeared quite worn with holes. That's the bad. The good is that it's in a fabulous location right on the beach. It has a very quaint courtyard and I recommend a room facing the courtyard as it's fantastic. The people who work there are also very lovely and friendly. I'm not sure I'd return based on my experience with this room, however.

Overall great hotel… Nice staff and very warm and welcoming …the room is bit smaller although we had a deluxe room and charge, anyways it was compensated by great Balcony with an awning …. So great place when the sun is out … Good views of Promenade de Anglias… Improvements : 1. breakfast it’s free for deluxe , but they still charge for omelette or hot stuff 2. The restaurant should be more considerate to Vegetarians or Vegan.. only one choice 3. The tours they recommend are good but be aware the guides just drive not explain about the place you are visiting
