Hotel La Perouse

My wife and I stayed here on vacation. The staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and beach club recommendations and reservations. The location is also ideal, just a short walk to old towne and a nice view of the beach and shore. The hotel pool is a bit odd with very little shallow end to stand and relax in and the rooms are a bit small, but these are only minor comments. I always prioritize location and the staff friendliness was nice. Also, they have an amazing rooftop with a view for dining and sunset. Definitely recommend.

Great location. Warm welcome from reception on arrival. We were room 103, lovely lower room, small but comfortable. Had many nationality tv channels. Pool was lovely. Just about enough sun beds, but for a small hotel, some people were reserving with towels and not coming back for a long time. Sun beds themselves need replacing as they can’t hold an angle and fall flat, so watch those fingers ! Food quality was excellent. Felt a bit overpriced but could have just been Nice area,€ 34 for burger a chips at lunch ? One evening meal with my wife, we were ordering desert and the waiter walked off mid sentence between my wife ordering hers and ordering mine ! Only other issue was staying at hotel and walking down steps from pool for lunch and being asked if had reservation, we said no and after some difficulty we were given a seat, only to see the restaurant remain half full for our lunch ? After my comments above I still had a great time and would recommend for a long weekend or week stay.

Amazing hotel views. Great location in Nice beside Old Town Beautiful hotel, nice room with big bathroom. Great pool area. Friendly accommodating staff.

I LOVED this hotel. 1st the location is perfect. On the edge of Old Town and across the street from the Castel beach. Next the Rooms and Views are stunning. The rooms with a patio and views of the sea and town are picture perfect. Then there is the staff. 5 Star! We never passed a staff member without being recognized and greeted. Not just a smile and bonjour, but an authentic concern for how are stay was going. The front desk staff gave use great advice from restaurants to transportation around the coast. The servers at the breakfast buffet knew our coffee and egg preferences after the first day. The dinner was fresh, creative and memorable, without being "fussy".

La Perouse continues to provide us with most enjoyable and relaxing breaks. With an excellent location on the sea front and next to the castle hill and old Nice, the hotel offers air conditioned rooms with panoramic views of the Mediterranean. In addition the splendid swimming pool provides and attractive way to lessen the effects of high temperatures. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, helpful and cheerful. We noticed this on arrival at Reception where we could always count on friendly and helpful advice and information. Everyone we met gave the impression that they were happy in their work and wanted us to be as comfortable as possible. Le Patio restaurant is amazing from the point of view of setting, quality of the food and service. Hamza and Andre worked very hard to ensure that we enjoyed our meals and it was nice to renew acquaintances with Fabian and Julian. Our room was well equipped and comfortable and offered stunning views of the sea and sea front. The cleaning was of a high standard and was timed to suit our needs. Thank you to everyone at La Perouse for providing us with such an enjoyable stay.
