Central location and amazing views
Excellent stay. We had a partial seaview room with fabulous views. Breakfast good and we went to the roof top bar for drinks ( friendly staff ) and some meals - good food and again amazing view. Grandchildren loved the pool there . Ahmed in concierge was great in fixing up a beach club opposite ready for my daughter and family when they arrived as well as dealing with other queries. All in all would recommend.

Great location but advocate for yourself for you room
Pros: location is excellent and is walking distance to everything! Most staff was friendly and welcoming The breakfast hostesses were exceptional- remembered my room number and my order from the kitchen each morning. The rooms are also updated so are quite nice. Cons: much of the hotel outside of the rooms is old a stuffy. I was put in a room below what I had booked, which was disappointing considering I am an Ambassador level Bonvoy member (138 nights last year alone). After asking to be moved multiple times per day for the first 6 days of my stay, I was eventually moved to an equally sized room but at least wasn’t looking directly at an office building window- the new view was the original view I booked and I am pretty disappointed I missed out on it for the majority of my stay. My suggestion would be to confirm you room booking with the room you have been allocated prior to accepting the keys. I think my trip would have been much better had I asked about the room prior to going up. Breakfast and dining options NOT celiac or vegan friendly. They have 1 or 2 things on the buffet (cucumbers, tomatoes and fruit, a small basket of packaged gluten free cakes that contain milk and eggs). The gym is very small, closet-like vibes. A few dumbbells, 2-3 treadmills and an elliptical. Not great if you need to train while visiting.

Nice for a weekend
The hotel is in a great location and has a good vibe about it. Service was broadly speaking okay but not blow away. Our room had a balcony and was well appointed. The L'occitane toiletries were pleasant and the bathroom modern. The price was a tad high I thought given that it’s only 4 star. Noise wasn’t a problem. The rooftop pool, whilst small, was perfectly acceptable and the temperature made it usable. The rooftop could however do with more relaxed seating for guests instead of lots of bar seating. We didn’t eat at the hotel as there were so many great options locally however the bar on the roof was relaxed and had a good choice. Only criticism was that our floor (floor 8) had a constant smell of drains in the hallways. It’s well documented on here and Google that the hotel has this issue. Just don’t be shocked when you turn up. Evidently it’s something major and expensive to fix. Overall, all things considered, I would return give its location and vibe.
