What other palace best symbolises the legend of the French Riviera? More than 100 years after its creation, as the perfect image of the legendary Riviera, Le Negresco reveals our desire for enjoyment, relaxation and comfort. Staying at Le Negresco is like jumping into a joyous mixture of eras and styles. Contemporary artists, masterpieces, monumental sculptures… Le Negresco owes its well-respected identity to its important collection of artwork and period furniture with over 6,000 references. From salons dedicated to Louis XVI or Napoleon III to Venetian or “Street Art” rooms, you will move from surprise to surprise discovering a unique selection of French artwork from the 17th century to today.

First time here, loved the location, the bar and the beach. Staff was very helpful and nice.

The staff were excellent, esp the attitude on being welcomed, the concierge men always smiling and helpful, the front desk was excellent, plus our numerous breakfasts were aided by well trained and selected staff.

I’m still on cloud nine after staying at Le Negresco. It is such a magnificent and unforgettable place, part world-class hotel, part museum, and entirely unlike anywhere else I’ve stayed. Every detail is magical. The interiors are gorgeous, the artwork is EVERYWHERE, and simply walking through the hotel feels like an experience in itself. The breakfast was incredible, and the service throughout our stay was warm, attentive, and authentic. On the second day, the breakfast staff remembered that I take three espresso shots (I know, ha!) in my iced latte, which honestly just wowed my socks off. Le Negresco is grand and iconic, but it never felt cold or impersonal. We had a family suite and a classic room for our group of 6. Both rooms were distinctly unique and just jaw-droppingly beautiful. This probably indicates more about my lack of fancy hotel experience, but one thing to note: a closed cover-up is required when walking through the hotel lobby from the beach, and in the beach bar, otherwise a staff member may discreetly say "madame! madame!" and get you to close your duster. I was wearing a skirt and a duster that didn't meet dress code. I got a good giggle out of that. Truly, I'm at a loss for enough words to describe this hotel. Staying at Le Negresco was a dream, a highlight of our time in Nice, and I cannot wait to go back.
