A slice of paradise

We stayed at Six Senses for our honeymoon and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel is simply spectacular. The landscapes alone take your breath away with lush greenery and stunning views in every direction. We stayed in a hilltop villa and it was absolute perfection — the view, the privacy, the gorgeous private pool — every detail felt like a dream come true. Breakfast was heavenly. You can even collect your own fresh eggs from the chickens and have them cooked just the way you like. The spread is incredible with a wide range of fresh and delicious options every morning. Everything is so fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The resort has so many thoughtful touches. The welcome was so warm and special. We loved the free ice cream by the pool, the bikes you can ride around the property, and the heavenly beach that feels so private and clean. We also enjoyed kayaking and exploring the beautiful surroundings — there’s so much to do, yet it still feels peaceful. The staff are out of this world. Everyone from housekeeping and landscapers to the personal butlers and spa therapists was genuinely warm, professional, and attentive. The service is top notch. Everything is spotless and cared for to the highest standard. The hotel manager DD is wonderful too, always checking in and making sure everything is perfect. He has such a great personality and sets the tone for the whole team. Our personal butlers, Dieu and Son are fantastic. Every moment here felt so special and personal. We were genuinely sad to leave. This was by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at — the perfect place to celebrate our honeymoon and create memories we’ll cherish forever.

fantastic

My wife and I stayed at Ninh Van Bay for 4 nights as part of celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We booked a Six Senses car to pick us up from Cam Ranh airport. Right from the moment we were greeted at the airport baggage claim, until we left on the speedboat back to the mainland 5 days later, we were treated like royalty and felt extremely privileged to be guests at the Six Senses. The journey to the resort from the airport is around an hour and then a 20 minute boat ride over the beautiful bay. We were greeted at the jetty by the GM of the hotel as well as our amazing GEM, Trang. The GEM (Guest Experience Maker) at Six Senses is such a fantastic luxury which makes the stay an even more special experience. However, we must add that Trang went above and beyond anything we could have expected and beyond other GEM's which we've had look after us at other Six Senses. She is the best possible ambassador the hotel could have. She genuniely wanted to do anything she could to give us the best stay possible and her enthusiasm for the resort was infectious. It was apparent that the staff are looked after by the management which helps to make them enthusiastic towards guests. I was ill during part of my stay (nothing to do with the hotel - a consequence of catching cold before arriving). Trang went to see the hotel medic, provided us with some medication and really looked after me. She took us on a buggy ride around the resort to look at the gardens and vegetable/herbs which are grown, as well as a trip up to the apothecary. She even asked if we liked fresh Mango and when we said yes, next morning delivered a beautifully sliced fresh and juicy taste of heaven to our villa. We returned from dinner one night and since it was our 30th anniversary our room had been beautifully turned down with loveheart pillows, special chocolates a bottle of champagne - so, so kind. We stayed in a beach villa which was excellent. A lovely pool to cool off in and a short walk straight into the sea. I could write so much more - the quality of the food, the service in the restaurants and the genuine Xin Chao we received from everyone whom we encountered. I must also make special mention of Bong Soksan from Cambodia who also was such an excellent ambassador for the hotel and someone else who again went out of his way to help, server and make us feel welcome - another real stand out member of staff. We did promise Trang that we'd provide some comparisons between the Six Senses Ninh Van Bay and the Zannier Bai San Ho which we stayed at next. Don't get me wrong, the Zannier was another incredible hotel, with villas which were equally as well appointed (and even better situated in some cases - stay in villa 422 - must be the best in the hotel for views). Also, the food at the Zannier was incredible and the staff also made such an amazing effort to look after us and make us very welcome. But, we have to say that the staff at the Six Sense Ninh Van Bay were exceptional - especially, as already noted, Trang (and Soksan) who one day will take the GM job I'm sure - if not in Ninh Van Bay but somewhere else! Thanks to everyone at Ninh Van Bay. As soon as we can get back to Vietnam from England this would be our first stopping off point. Best wishes Ian and Sally Thomas

Perfection in every way at this resort!!

From the moment we were welcomed at the airport by their staff, until the moment we left the resort, it was a magical experience. The resort is private, luxurious, and every detail has been well thought of. But what makes the Six Senses Ninh Van Bay truly special is the staff. First and foremost, our GEM (Guest Experience Manager) Minh was always there with a smile to transport us between our villa and the restaurants, the pool, the activities center, the gym, yoga and the other sustainability activities that every guest must try. Minh truly made our stay special, and we can't wait to go back. The villas are extremely well appointed, with high quality linen and robes. The bedding is very comfortable, and the netting at night is a very nice touch. The resort offers a lot of activities (sporty and sustainable) which are well organized, and well worth a try. Overall, an excellent stay at a fantastic resort, with the best host team we have ever experienced. A special shout out to the ice-cream team that was always ready with a smile and the fantastic team at the breakfast buffet!!

Amazing relaxing family holiday

We visited the property in May and had a wonderful experience. We have visited many Six Senses properties all over the world and this is a standout property. The eco luxury vibe was executed flawlessly. (Which I know comes from tireless behind the scenes work) I cannot speak more highly of the entire staff. First off, our GEM, Truong, was EXCEPTIONAL. He went above and beyond. He was truly outstanding. From setting up anything we wanted to do, to coordinating things for our 5 year old, he was unbelievable. I wish I would have noted 2 exceptional restaurant staff members names. One was at our Grandma’s Kitchen experience. (Which I would HIGHLY recommend) She was absolutely outstanding. Another lovely lady at Dining at The Bay assisted with our cooking class. The entire staff made the experience so special. We stayed in a beach pool villa, which we loved. (We prefer the beachfront with a young child) The food was all incredible. Also, other reviews noted not being able to use their upstairs living room, I do not agree with this. We used ours the entire time and had no issues or complaints about bugs. (Of course, there are bugs, you are in a remote location in Vietnam, but we did NOT get bit or have any issues) This is an eco luxury property, so there aren’t “fancy chandeliers”, but it is absolutely necessary to note the incredible attention to detail regarding decor. It fits with the environment and doesn’t feel tired or worn. My daughter loved the kids club so much she asked if she could sleep there, ha! We loved our time there, and don’t often “revisit” places, this is a property we will revisit. Amazing, amazing! Also, wanted to note we loved being close to the main pool. The staff was attentive and our daughter loved it!

A wonderful holiday at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay

Just returned from a wonderful week at Six Senses Ninh van bay Vietnam. A really brilliant hotel. We absolutely loved it. The Location is stunning, breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel have managed to fuse their ‘barefoot luxury’ vibe with the surroundings so well. We had the hilltop reserve villa - an enormous 3 bed villa with an amazing view - it had a living room, dining area, kitchen, huge terrace and chill out areas, gorgeous pool - more than enough space for our family of 5. We were given bikes to get around the resort which was a nice touch. We lucked out with (guest experience maker) GEM Khang, the staff member who was assigned to look after our villa. He was absolutely brilliant, organised everything we needed. Gave us every piece of info before we’d even thought of it. Was calm, efficient and friendly - a superstar GEM for sure. He made our week so incredibly easy and therefore it was really relaxing. Otherwise what can I tell you about the resort: Spa is fabulous, food is amazing, beach and sea are wonderful and in general service on every level was top notch. There is loads to do, but equally it’s fine to do absolutely nothing at all. Thank you for having us!
