Welcome to Paradise 🙏🏻 Paradise must be the right description for this extraordinary hotel which is placed the absolute perfect place in a beautiful bay. Everyone is welcoming you and the standard is super high and at the same time a very relaxing atmosphere. It’s a super cool hotel which is focusing on sustainability and is actually producing their own solar energy, tapping water from their own source on glass bottles, growing tasteful vegetables for kitchens, having chickens and egg production, making cheese and on top of that reusing the leftovers from all food in their production! And it doesn’t stop here. Furthermore the hotel also protects the endangered black-shanked douc langur, which, by the way, is happily hanging out in the trees around us. We just say; wauw it is an amazing hotel! We will come back!

Just a 20-minute boat ride from the bustling city of Nha Trang lies a hidden world known only to a fortunate few — the breathtaking Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Vietnam. Tucked into a serene bay and accessible only by water, this secluded paradise is embraced by nature in its purest form. Six Senses is renowned for choosing remote, soul-stirring locations, and this may well have been one of their most ambitious projects yet. Secluded villas perch dramatically on giant rock formations, authentic mangroves stretch along the shoreline, and tiny waterfalls cascade softly in the background… everything here whispers, relax and enjoy your fairytale life. Your journey begins the moment you arrive. At the jetty’s bridge bar, you are warmly welcomed by the management team and invited to take part in a traditional gong ritual for wishes — a beautiful, grounding moment that makes your arrival feel even more meaningful. You’re then offered a charming choice: a Western-style hat or a traditional Vietnamese one, setting the tone for the holiday mood you want to embrace from the very start. Breakfast here is so abundant and indulgent that it effortlessly turns into brunch. A personal recommendation: Go local. Try their signature All-melette along with traditional Vietnamese dishes you’re unlikely to find elsewhere. It’s a delicious way to connect with the destination. Dinner at the resort’s highest point is an experience in itself — and one you quite literally earn. A winding, scenic stairway leads you up to Dining on the Rocks, the resort’s fine dining restaurant. Along the way, thoughtful “relaxation checkpoints” offer cold water and refreshing towels, encouraging you as you climb toward your reward. At the top, Chef Cuong delights guests with a refined, gourmet interpretation of Vietnamese cuisine — a feast for both the palate and the eyes. Special mention must go to the extraordinary spa, seamlessly woven between massive rock formations. Even the entrance is unforgettable — like stepping into Alice in Wonderland, crossing marble stones surrounded by water on your way to reception. The changing rooms feel like a treatment of their own, inviting you to linger longer than planned (and often convincing you to book another appointment just to return). The sauna and steam room sit atop a huge rock overlooking a gentle waterfall, and if you’re lucky, you may even be joined by playful monkeys in the trees above. The design here goes far beyond expectations — it’s not just a spa, it’s an experience of nature, architecture, and serenity in perfect harmony. You truly feel like a child again, in awe of everything around you, discovering beauty in every detail. One of the simple joys you find yourself looking forward to each day is the afternoon treat — Six Senses’ generous complimentary selection of ice creams, a small indulgence that somehow feels magical in this setting. Our Personal Experience Assistant, Thi, deserves special mention. Her care and attentiveness went far beyond expectations, and what made it even more special was that her thoughtful follow-up continued even after we had left the resort. That level of genuine hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. Staying at a Six Senses resort is truly a gift to the senses. I’ve become a devoted admirer of the brand and its philosophy. I find myself excited to discover their next masterpiece — another place where human creativity and nature come together in perfect harmony, blending seamlessly into one breathtaking experience. I’m continually impressed by their imagination, their respect for the environment, and the thoughtful amenities offered to guests. If any brand truly understands the meaning of a holiday — the art of disconnecting, indulging, and reconnecting with yourself and nature — it is undoubtedly Six Senses in everything they create.

We went back to Six Senses, this time at Ninh Van Bay, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we checked in, Khang took very good care of us. The property was beautiful, and our beach villa was extremely comfortable. I loved having direct access to the beach. A lovely little touch was that our bicycles had personalised name plates, which made the experience feel even more special. We didn’t spend much time in the pool as the water was very cold, but luckily the beach more than made up for it. The spa was excellent, and Pramod was a great help in planning our appointments. The food and dining experience were lovely—we didn’t feel guilty having that extra bite. The meals were clean, healthy, and delicious! A must-try dish is the chicken hot pot, which needs to be ordered 24 hours in advance and is absolutely worth it. I still can’t get over our breakfast views. We were there over New Year’s, and the gala dinner was fun and very well organised. That said, three nights felt far too short—we definitely wished we could have stayed longer. The only part I didn’t quite enjoy was that our stay had to come to an end 😅.

Before going, I was skeptical that the resort would live up to the relatively high prices they charge. I was wrong. The Six Senses at Ninh Vanh bay will exceed every expectation that you have. For context, I have stayed at multiple Aman, One and Only and Four Seasons properties, been a guest on North Island in the Seychelles....but none of them have come close to the Six Senses experience. Even if you have to sell the mother in law to go, do it. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed in your hotel in early June and we enjoyed every second. My wife loved the hotel, the staff, the ambiance, everything and we hope to be back soon to this dream. Thanks again for making a dream come true!
