Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives

From the moment we set foot on the island, the warm reception from the staff made us feel right at home. The food in the restaurant was all delicious — French cuisine, Italian dishes, and Indian meals were all very tasty. The room facilities were well-equipped, the view from the water villa was wonderful, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable

Butlers are useless. Hotel is not a 5 star it is 4 star. Food bad, service bad. Honestly guys, for this money better go Kudafushi

We had an amazing 5-day stay at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi. Sadly, five days wasn't enough to explore all the activities the resort has to offer. The island itself can be explored on foot in around 30 minutes, more or less. We booked the Sunset Horizon Water Villa and were assigned the very last villa on the island. Although it was quite far, we didn't mind at all because it gave us the most uninterrupted and breathtaking views. The private pool was also much larger than those at many other resorts we've seen. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly. We were greeted with warm smiles and hellos everywhere we went, which made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did an excellent job. Our room was serviced twice a day, towels were replaced regularly, and the coffee and minibar were always replenished. Everything around the resort was very convenient. Buggies were readily available at any time to take us anywhere on the island. There was also no need to carry cash or make payments on the spot, as everything ,from restaurants to activities, could simply be charged to our room. The Spa – One of the highlights of our stay. We booked a 90 minute spa session, which was upgraded to a 120 minutes session, and although we've unfortunately forgotten the names of our therapists, they were both exceptional. Their professionalism and skill made for an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. We also had private access to the hydrotherapy pool, sauna, and steam room for an hour, which made the experience even more special. I'd also like to recognise a few staff members who truly went above and beyond: Mirza (Reservations) – Always responded promptly, from my initial enquiry and pre-booking questions right through to our pre-arrival arrangements. Communication was excellent. Imraz (Guest Services) – Welcomed us upon arrival and always stopped for a friendly chat whenever we crossed paths. He made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The Island Grill team – We dined there twice, and both the food and service were exceptional each time. Faahim– Assisted us during check-out and was incredibly warm, friendly, and kind. Our experience with the butler service was mixed. Our first butler wasn't as attentive as we had hoped. Our activities were not booked at our preferred times, and communication regarding our requests was sometimes lacking. However, he unfortunately became ill on our second night, and we completely understand that these things happen. We were then assigned Mushrif, who had actually helped us during check-in as well. Even before becoming our butler, he would always stop to ask how our stay was going whenever he saw us around the resort. Once assigned to us, he was consistently proactive, helpful, and attentive. He recommended great activities and restaurants, responded quickly to our requests, and genuinely made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had an unforgettable first wedding anniversary at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi. The beautiful island, outstanding hospitality, and wonderful memories made this a trip we'll always treasure. We will definitely be exploring other Sun Siyam resorts in the future.
