InterContinental Hotels brings a new luxury lifestyle experience in Buckhead, Atlanta's most affluent neighborhood, with new spacious Executive Rooms, a redesigned Grand Lobby and Windsor Garden reminiscent of a classic manor home, re-imagined Gala Ballroom space, a fully staffed Club InterContinental Lounge, a new dining venue, The Americano, helmed by celebrity chef Scott Conant, and understated, excellent service. The hotel’s stunning and sophisticated design sets an idyllic scene from the moment travelers step foot into the lobby. The newly redesigned Great Hall features iconic rose marble floors, dazzling light fixtures, and natural light from the private Windsor Garden. Large-scale abstract paintings by local mixed-media artist Niki Zarrabi adorn the walls and are a focal point of the space.

the bed was super comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night and no noise was awesome. Breakfast was great too.

I stayed at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta and found the experience to be inconsistent, particularly when it came to service. The room and physical amenities were strong—spacious, comfortable, and in line with what you’d expect from the InterContinental brand. The property itself is well-maintained and has the foundation for a high-quality stay. However, the hospitality fell short in several key moments. The interaction with the night front desk staff felt subpar, lacking warmth and attentiveness. More concerning was my experience calling the concierge—my question was answered, but the call felt abrupt and was ended without any sense of courtesy or follow-through. It came across as transactional and dismissive. These interactions stood out because they contrast sharply with the level of service typically associated with this brand. Overall: While the hotel delivers on space and amenities, the service experience did not feel intentional or guest-centered. With more consistent and thoughtful hospitality, this property could better align with expectations.

Christian in The Americano Restaurant at the hotel was absolutely incredible during our stay! I have multiple food restrictions currently due to a medical diagnosis, making it very very challenging to travel. Christian went above and beyond to make sure my food was safe for me both times I ate in the restaurant. He even remembered my specific restrictions when I walked in the second time. He was so attentive and payed such close attention to the details. This meant so much to us and each time I felt extremely safe eating there with him in charge. Thank you so much Christian for insuring that EVERYONE enjoys the restaurant and for easing my anxiety over traveling! You are amazing! We will be back!

Your staff is very friendly and accommodating having provided me with a mini-fridge and ironing board/iron. The bathroom is pretty but low marks for functionality. No drawers, tub is just a tub… no jacuzzi, toilet is way too low and the lid is cheap (loose, won’t stay open, and not soft-close), and the shower is very tight. The worst thing was the massive party that was scheduled delivering loud, thumping music late into the night. For those of us that had to get to bed early for an early flight the next morning… totally unacceptable. The one decent thing was that I was given a different room on the other side. This did require packing entirely, unpacking, and repacking when I needed to be in bed. Decide whether you’re a hotel or a venue.
