Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru

We had a great vacation in Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru! All the staff were kind and helpful, especially Allath. He helped us a lot — such a great host! We truly felt at home in Vabbinfaru.

It was a wonderful experience. Although only one of the four days we stayed had clear weather, the rest were either cloudy or rainy. However, the housekeeper Allath still did her best to arrange an outing at sea for us. The spa experience was also very good. As I was a pregnant woman, they recommended essential oils and massage techniques for me. The restaurant was delicious and the service was really nice and friendly.

Had a lovely week here- our second visit after many years to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Villa- While the decor could do with some updating, the villa was very comfortable, clean and really with everything you need. The outside bathroom was a bit annoying though because of the extreme heat when we visited, but still all was working fine and the outside plunge pool was nice to have. Food- Fantastic! All restaurants had high quality delicious choices- the new Japanese being our favorite. It was truly a gorgeous space and the infinity pool blissful. Spa: Wonderful! We took a package so had several treatments- all were done very professionally. Staff were obviously well trained and knowledgeable. Service: Excellent. All the staff went out of their way to know our names, preferences and were very kind and eager to help. Special mention to the lovely restaurant staff, our room boy and Allath, who looked after us so well. The one thing I did wonder about was the absence of any management to introduce themselves or say hello. Something we always appreciate in many of the similar resorts and hotels we have stayed in. There’s not much to do except for relaxing on the beach but that was perfect for us. We had a really great week and would love to return.

The food was amazing throughout the stay, and special compliments to the chef for the delicious meals. Thank you to the whole team for such a beautiful experience. Highly recommended!

The service provided by Allath was truly outstanding — incredibly attentive, dedicated and professional. The overall greenery and resort environment are breathtaking, with every staff member warm and approachable. As a snorkeling lover, I was thoroughly impressed by the amazing snorkeling experience here. The villa accommodation is also perfectly designed and absolutely delightful. Overall, it has been a wonderful and memorable stay at Banyan Tree Maldives.
