Everyrhing is perfect for me and my family. Good location, our villa is modern and elegant, with a large swimpool . Restaurants offers different linda of food, and the japanese restaurant is in a fantastic location. The cleaner of our villa has been polite, and very good in his job. Thanks everybody who works in Banjan Tree: they give us a wonderful experience. It’s the second time we decide to pass here some days of paradise.

We had the most magical experience at the Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru celebrating my 60th Birthday and plan to return for my friends 60th. Everything was absolutely perfect from making a special piece of art in the crafts room from recycled material to going snorkeling with staff around the island. We loved the sunset cruise and the afternoon teas. We loved being able to walk barefoot during our entire stay including in all the restaurants. We loved being able to have access to two islands while only staying on one. We loved all the staff and how they made us feel at home. All the touches were so special and very memorable that I don't want to tell you about them and ruin your surprise. This island is also only a 20 minute speed boat from Male which makes it truly convenient no matter what time of day or night you arrive. We loved absolutely everything about this property and would be happy to answer any questions that you might have. You will love every minute of your stay and your only compliant would be that you wish you could stay longer.

3rd visit to the Maldives, but first time at this resort. Absolutely amazing stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. Stayed for 4 nights in a Beachfront Sunset View Villa (no 3.) Highly recommend this villa if you are looking for some extra privacy as your private outside is surrounded by extra vegetation. The quality of the accommodation and cleanliness is superb. What really sets this place apart is the high level of service from the staff. We were received at the airport by Adam who was very helpful and within only 30 mins from entering the arrivals area, we were on our speedboat to the resort. The speedboat journey itself was smooth, taking around 25 mins. The transfer boat Banyan Tree use is very modern. The proximity of the resort and how quickly we can arrive after landing was one of the main reasons we went for this resort. Upon arrival at the resort we were greeted by Liu who was our main contact throughout our stay and the front office manager Waheed, who upgraded us to a Sunset Villa. Waheed was also very helpful throughout our stay. Communication with Liu was via whatsapp with excellent response times. Any restaurant bookings or requirements we had were taken care of very promptly and smoothly by Liu. Twice daily housekeeping by the lovely Anees on our room and as we were celebrating both a birthday and wedding anniversary, throughtful touches were left in our room and cakes provided. Food is excellent with a a sumptuous breakfast buffet. Fresh juices, egg station etc. Both the Japanese and Thai restaurant were very good. There are some upsell option on the menu not included in the meal plans. You can try these if you wish, but there is plenty of choice and excellent options available from the inclusive menu. A buffet is also provided 3 days a week (Tues, Fri & Sun) and if you wish to try something different, you can book the buffet at the sister property Dhawa Ihuru. This is on the neighbouring island which is 5 mins by speedboat transfer (there are regular scheduled transfer times). We did try the buffet on Dhawa Ihuru once and found that the quality of food was not as good as that available at the Banyan Tree Restaurants. So many people to mention that I cannot remember all of them, but special mentions to Lynn, Fipit, Nafiz and Vineeth for looking after us at the Restaurants. Always very friendly and helpful!. The snorkelling is excellent with free equipment provided by the dive centre. The reef itself is unfortunately fairly bleached as is most of the coral in the Maldives, but still abundant with marine life. Without venturing out too far I managed to swim with black tipped reef sharks! Do note that the island is a little more exposed to wind on the sunset side compared to the sunrise side, but the sunset views are something to behold! The entire island is very small, taking 10 mins to walk around it. However it never feels crowded with us often feeling like we had the beach to ourselves! The back of the villa has the outdoor bathroom and private pool, along with the heated jacuzzi. I had read some reviews about loose tiles in the pools, but found nothing of the sort in ours. All the food is Halal (except for Pork Bacon served separately in the breakfast area) and there is also a masjid on the Island with regular prayers and Jummah. This is located within the staff area so you do need to ask the staff about this in order to access it. Special mention to the Imam Mateen! In summary a lovely intimate resort. Cannot rate the place enough and no pictures/videos can do the real beauty of this place justice. Look forward to returning!

We had an amazing holiday at Banyan Tree. We can only recommend it, it is a peaceful and beautiful island. The staff is fantastic ( we have to say a special thank you to Okta, who made our holiday perfect), they are always looking to meet your needs to make your holiday perfect. Banyan Tree offers you so much sports activities, such as snorkelling, diving, parasailing and jet skiing. Banyan Tree has a marine conservation lab, which makes the island more special, you can attend the presentation of the marine lab (it was really fantastic and interesting with Henry), you can learn a lot about the marine life and conservation and also you can joint their marine cleaning program, which is great fun. We also tried the massage, which was absolutely fantastic. We went for a manta ray day trip with our two guides, Hassan and Viyam, who were very experienced and great guides and we were lucky enough to see manta ray and swim with them.
