Patina Maldives, Fari Islands

Everything was incredible! Starting from the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by lovely Daria and showed around. The staff is excellent and super friendly, they always remembered your preferences and showed great kindness. The room and architecture is modern and neat, the room is cleaned twice a day and maintained in a perfect condition. Speaking of restaurant, food here is amazing, especially the Brasa restaurant, highly recommend! The New Year Eve celebration was one of the best we’ve ever had, the festive concert and entertainment was at the highest level as well as food, the menu included literally everything. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels but this one is going to be remembered in particular, simply the best.

Our stay at Patina was extraordinary. The staff was amazing, our essentialist manager Ria was great. The food was spectacular and we really enjoyed our time there.

We visited Patina Maldives in September 2025 for our honeymoon, staying two nights in a Sunset Water Pool Villa and two nights in a Sunset Beach Pool Villa. From beginning to end, the experience felt refined, thoughtful, and exceptionally well executed. Our stay was made truly effortless thanks to our Essentialist, Afaa. Her attention was warm, intuitive, and perfectly balanced — always present when needed, yet never intrusive. Because of her, we were able to fully disconnect and enjoy each day without having to think about logistics or planning. The same sense of genuine hospitality extended to every team member we met: friendly, relaxed, and sincerely welcoming. Several moments stood out in a very personal way. On our final evening at Fari Beach Club, Meo surprised us with champagne, turning the night into a joyful and unforgettable memory. On departure day, a staff member (Kai, I believe — I wish I remembered the name more clearly) created a farewell cocktail called “See You Again.” It was a small gesture, but one filled with warmth, and it left a lasting impression that made us certain we would return someday. Dining at Patina deserves special recognition. The restaurants are, quite simply, outstanding. While breakfast offered excellent à la carte options, it was dinner that truly impressed us. We dined at Portico, Helios, Wok Society, and Fari Beach Club, and every meal was at an exceptional level. Wok Society exceeded even our expectations for Chinese cuisine, and Helios was nothing short of extraordinary — elegant, refined, and unforgettable. The Premium Half Board+ package allowed us to experience a wide range of cuisines along with well-curated beverages, and it enhanced the stay significantly. We did not have time to visit Brasa or Koen, which only gave us another reason to plan a return visit. The villa experience was flawless. Spacious, serene, and beautifully designed to blend with nature, it offered complete privacy and comfort. Experiencing both a water villa and a beach pool villa was absolutely worthwhile, as each had its own distinct charm. The ocean views from our villa were so striking that even now, they remain vividly etched in our memory. The lagoon and main beach were visually stunning, with particularly beautiful views along the main beach. While the underwater environment was more limited — likely due to the artificial island setting — it did little to diminish the overall atmosphere of tranquility and beauty. The yacht transfer from the airport to the resort was an experience in itself — sleek, luxurious, and far beyond what we expected. After the long journey from Korea, we were admittedly too tired to fully enjoy it, which is our only regret. The return transfer was more standard but perfectly comfortable. As for minor notes, there were no real complaints. The spa experience was pleasant, though not the most exceptional we have experienced globally. We also wished the beverage package included a slightly broader cocktail selection beyond mojitos. Every element of the stay reflected the level of luxury one would expect from a resort of this caliber — particularly the villas and the dining, which mattered most to us. It was the perfect honeymoon destination. An experience that truly lives up to its reputation. We will absolutely return one day — perhaps again at sixty, together.

Dubby was extremely helpful and no matter how busy he may have been he always made sure to give us prompt attention and service to ensure we had everything that we needed. He really went above and beyond, and I allocate a lot of of our enjoyment towards his attentiveness. thank you so much and the property is beautiful. This was our seventh visit to the Maldives, and yet our stay at Patina Maldives felt as magical and memorable as our very first. Having experienced many resorts over the years, we chose Patina for a very personal reason. Our essentialist had been our butler three years ago at another resort, and the care, professionalism, and warmth he showed us then left such a lasting impression that we decided to visit Patina specifically to experience his service again. That decision turned out to be one of the best we have ever made. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere at Patina felt calm and thoughtfully designed. The resort is visually stunning, with a modern and minimalist aesthetic that blends beautifully with the natural surroundings. The villas are contemporary, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, offering both privacy and breathtaking views. What truly elevates Patina, however, is the level of service. Our essentialist Fubu went above and beyond in every possible way, anticipating our needs before we ever had to ask. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel not just like guests, but like we were truly welcomed and remembered. Throughout our stay, we were surprised with thoughtful gestures such as fresh coconuts and chocolates delivered to our villa, along with beautifully personalised gifts that made our experience feel incredibly special. These were not grand gestures, but meaningful ones, and they stayed with us long after we left. The staff at Patina do not wear name tags, yet so many of them left an imprint on our hearts. There were faces, smiles, and quiet acts of kindness that we will never forget. Whether it was a warm greeting in passing, a humble hand on chest from each and every staff, a gentle check in, or a moment of care offered without being asked, these individuals made us feel deeply welcomed. Ronnies infectious smile to Ottmains frangipani blossoms at lunch, Rashids friendly expertise as the food and beverage manager and Shahids attentive care as our Villa attendant. We truly hope these individuals are recognised and celebrated, as they are the heart of what makes Patina so special. Patina is the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Never overbearing, never stiff, just refined and relaxed. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories. Patina Maldives is not just a resort. It is an experience we will treasure and absolutely hope to return to.
