Patina Maldives, Fari Islands

Patina is a wonderful retreat with thoughtful, minimalist villa design. Natural materials, open spaces and beautiful ocean views create a very peaceful atmosphere. Special thanks to our Essentialist Safa! Her attentive, proactive service made our stay seamless. She took great care of all our reservations and arrangements, and always responded promptly to our requests. Wonderful overall experience, we hope to come back. Highly recommended!

The design is low-key but tasteful, and there are plenty of restaurants with great food. The butler service was amazing — especially Jalle. Housekeeping was always timely, and the gifts and towel animals were such a lovely surprise.

Very impressing！ Especially our butler Zac provided great service and in-time pick-ups during these days. Shishka's painting was also very lovely. Tina recommended great food and New(if that's the right name) of airport pick-up service let us feel at home at the very first day. Sichuan from Wok Society Made very great Chinese good and the beef is our favorite！ Definitely will come again.

We had such a wonderful family trip at Patina. We experienced sunny, cloudy and rainy days in the Maldives, each bringing a unique vibe. During the hotel’s family movie night, the three of us watched *Frozen* together. It’s a sweet memory we will cherish forever. All the hotel staff were lovely. We were greeted warmly every day, which made us feel so comfortable. Our butler thoughtfully booked different restaurants for us, and we got to taste a variety of dishes on Patina Island. Our favorite was the steak at Brasa – crispy on the outside and absolutely delicious. My daughter loved the hamburger from the kids’ menu and the daily gelato. We took our daughter to the kids’ club every day, where she made a new friend, Lily. I believe this will also be a precious memory for her. Our butler Dao was responsive, kind and gentle. Every day, my daughter kept saying, “I want to sit at the front of the shuttle bus with Sister Dao” and “When will Sister Dao come pick me up?” She even wanted to give her Elsa toy to Dao. A child’s feelings are the most genuine. We also met Angel, a server at Brasa and Tuk Tuk. He called my daughter little sister affectionately. He speaks great Chinese and kindly took photos for our family. He left us with a deep impression of this trip. Thank you so much, Angel!
