Alex’s beach services

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

I had an excellent experience at Hard Rock. The service was outstanding in every way, but what really stood out was the beach service with Alex. He was always attentive, checking in with us constantly to make sure we were comfortable and never missing anything we might need. His kindness and friendly attitude made a huge difference and created such a welcoming atmosphere. It’s rare to find staff who go above and beyond with so much genuine care, and Alex definitely did that. Thanks to him, my stay was even more enjoyable, and I am leaving truly happy.

Has the Hard Rock gone SOFT???

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

We have been to this resort several times, at different times of year and one thing that was consistent was the vibe (personally not a fan of the word but...). The pool was always pumping and that set the tone for a great time, all day! This time was a somewhat pathetic attempt with a somewhat younger staff (and a new "vibe manager" maybe a good choice but at least educate them on your brand) and resulting a bored crowd. I doubt they would recognize a hard rock song if they bothered to play one.. This just seems like another successful brand selling out to unsuccessful ideals. Sometimes the good old fashioned music that happens to be in the name of your brand is the best place to stay,,

Good get away

Everything went really well! The staff were just amazing. A big thank you to all the Hard Rock personnel and partners for making sure that our stay not only went smoothly but also exceeded our expectations. Their dedication and professionalism were evident in every detail, from the beginning to the end. We are so thankful for the hard work that everyone put in to make this experience so special.

Not Hard Rock - It's gone flaccid

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Soft Rock, Fake Rock, Gen Z Alternative .. No Hard Rock here! So we just got home from a week at “Hard Rock” Puerto Vallarta yesterday as “Rock Royalty” guests. So the service and food hasn’t changed. It is very good. The “Vibe” has taken a serious dive. We were actually so unhappy with the changes which have been made due to completely unclear reasons, that we complained. We got to meet with their Vibe Manager. Who indicated that he heard us, but was continuing on with his current approach. So the main pool is a typical area we hang out at. Typically solid music selections, mostly in English, some Spanish … but decent music. The music is loud typically. The “activities” where the staff engages in water aerobics, silly games, etc used to be a minor part of the time. What has happened is a huge move to soft alternative music by unknown artists, a significant move to any typical rock song that is played being a remake by an unknown artist that is also in a soft fruity approach to a good song that really is awful. We counted in a day out by the pool 1 typical rock song – and this was by INXS, not any of the artists that are featured in their lobby. We heard a single Michael Jackson song yesterday, not done by him, but with the lamest remake ever, Additionally, they have at least 4 feeds of music going, one inside, and one at the North area, one in the main pool and one in the kids area. Because they’ve turned down the volume of the music in the main pool, all 3 feeds outside overlap and it is incredibly annoying as you then get to simultaneously hear 3 sets of completely rubbish music. We had a trip scheduled to come back in 6 weeks. We cancelled it and will be staying elsewhere. We have another Hard Rock reservation for February 2026 at Cabo and if their “Vibe Manager” has a similar approach to the one in Vallarta, we’ll not bother booking any more trips to Hard Rock. Hopefully if anyone who has experienced Cabo recently has a similar experience to what we’ve had in Vallarta, they let us know so we can book in to another hotel. Additionally, we asked multiple people, both English and Spanish speaking their thoughts and universally, they had the same response. This facility and their Vibe Manager are failing to understand their clients and have lost us, at least for the Vallarta location.
