Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The location was convenient, and the amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Cannot wait to go back when renovations are completed. We had Alex, Uri, and Francisco to help us with our stay and making reservations for us. Made our stay comfortable anything we needed they helped!

Great time at Hard Rock Vallarta during an 8 day stay June 2 through the 10th. My wife and I love Hard Rock Vallarta as this was our 6th visit give or take a stay over the last 18 years. HRV has started construction for a complete remodel which was needed as the appearance of the resort didn't match the quality and service of the staff. They are going to shut down the facility from mid July until mid December for a thorough rehab. That being said I commend the resort for minimal interruption or noise from the rehab going on. Can't wait to visit next year and check out the newer resort. As is normal for this place the service from the time you arrive until you leave is fantastic. The bell boy team are very friendly and helpful. I'd especially want to thank our butlers Alejandro, Uriel and Francisco for making sure my families needs were taken care of every day. A tremendous team those three, hopefully we get them next time we visit. Our room had as great view as you can have in the building. Top floor center of the resort. Our AC was just ok as far as cooling the room but we ran the ceiling fan non stop as we didn't want to change rooms for a weak air conditioner but still acceptably cool. Other wise the room was clean and well maintained. Our house keeper Cynthia was great at cleaning and preparing our room every day, no complaints just a big thank you to Cynthia. Our turn over lady Sandy was also great at tiding up our room and providing aromatherapy every evening. The lobby had ac issues as well but surely will be fixed with the rehab. A minor inconvenience that needs to be mentioned for this review since there's still about 4 more weeks of guests arriving. Restaurants - UMO was our favorite with Frida a close 2nd. Umo had a good selection of appetizers and main dishes and deserts. Crystal and Moises took care of us both times we dined at Umo and both were fantastic, so a big thanks to them for a pleasant experience. FRIDA was also sooo good as we dined twice there too. Delicious choices and great service provided by Jazmin, Capt. Juan, Leydi, Chagoyan and Golden took excellent care our table during both visits. The ZEN restaurant was moved to the Market because it's restaurant was being completely gutted out by the construction crew. I believe that hurt the Zen experience as it's usually our favorite, just not this time but still good. The ITALIAN had great service and the food was ok. The MARKET for breakfast and lunch was excellent as usual with many choices and daily themes like Mexican, Asian etc. Big KUDOS to Alexander in the market who was super attentive to make sure everyone in his are was taken care of. CAFFETO - Paco and the ladies behind the counter make excellent cappuccino's. Excellent service here so definitely a daily stop for coffee, pastries and ice cream. POOL & BEACH - Service, service, service in these two areas is top notch. We hung around the POOL for maybe a day or two as we are beach people. We were all tended to very well by the pool bar tenders and pool side servers. No complaints. On the BEACH we stayed in the Members section whose palapas have electric outlets for phones and speakers or what ever you want. The servers on the beach were great to everyone in the area as the servers were always around so waits between drinks was virtually non existent. Shout out to Chris, Lulu and Zu as they brought our drinks in a timely matter and made excellent suggestions when we wanted something different. The BEACH itself was excellent. Great for long walks with a gorgeous view of Bay de Banderas with its mountains as an awesome back drop. Sunsets were viewable most evenings as clouds only blocked the sunset once. Boogie boards are provided by the resort for its guests, just ask and they're free to use and in very good condition. KIDS CLUB - we used it once for our 8 and 9 year old grand kids while we did the sales and update meeting and our grand kids loved it. So we recommend this service for the little ones. Recommended must do's - Sunset cruise, Rythm of the Nights and a visit to Puerto Vallarta's malecon(board walk). We found everything very peaceful and speaking to locals Vallarta is very safe for tourists and locals. We can't wait to return, possibly next year, to check out the newly renovated resort and a stay next door at the new adults only Unico resort. We still love this place even with construction going on as service didn't suffer nor the overall quality of food and drinks. The building and pool areas do need to be renovated so nice to see Hard Rock owners are taking care of this. Thanks HRV and we hope to see the staff next year too!!

Alma, the towel service lady was amazing!!! she was so kind and cordial everyday we went to the pool/beach. The entire wait staff and bartenders are superb!

Juan has been quick to bring us any drink we ask for and is always polite. He is cheerful and willing to help in any way he can.

It’s so pretty and a lot of fun, reed is very good at his job enhances the experience and is full of life and an amazing character, same with michel, overall great.
