Villa La Estancia - Riviera Nayarit

Highly recommend resort! Clean, great service, and fantastic layout! Jesus and Angel were the best pool boys! All of the doormen were spot on!

This was our 4th visit to La Estancia. We absolutely love it, it’s beautiful, clean and the service/food is always stellar. By the pool, Jesus and Angel always made sure we had what we needed. And always service with a smile from them! We saw a couple that was celebrating their anniversary receive a cake and flowers. How fun! And something new this year, every afternoon Jesus and Angel would come around with fruit cups. What an awesome touch. It was always timely and a perfect treat. Would definitely recommend La estancia.

We spent two weeks at La Estancia and had a wonderful time. The lady who cleaned our room, Felix, was the best. Our room was spotless. She added special touches that made it extra special. Our pool attendants, Santana and Ricardo, were amazingly attentive. Thank you Felix, Santana and Ricardo for making our vacation the best ever. Kathy, Tom, Judy and Gary

Villa Estancia was the hotel for a wedding we attended. The hotel was a disappointment from the time we walked in the door. I had booked the stay through the hotel using a code for the wedding rate. We were told we had booked through Expedia. I have never used Expedia in my life. The clerk checking us in spoke little English and the issue was never resolved. There was a hard sell of making our reservation all inclusive at the rate of $140 per person per day. We declined. We were then handed over to a “bellman” who began a hard sell on a tour of the property as a time share. After repeatedly telling him we were not interested, he led us to our room. The room itself was dark and very humid. A dehumidifier is a must in PV hotels. There was none. The iron didn’t work, but was replaced quickly. The bathroom was outdated with a deep tile tub/shower combination with a very slick floor and no grab bars. Both the bathroom and bedroom area could use a much needed update. The food in the restaurants was decent, but certainly not exceptional. The beach and pool areas had the prime searing locations and padded chaises in roped off areas for use only by members. I asked for a pad for my lounge chair and was told to tell the attendant I had a bad back. The beach attendants were pleasant, but spread very thin handling too many customers. The wedding, held at another site, was beautiful, making the 4 day trip not a lost cause.
