We truly love the people here. Pak Arya, Bu Sintia, Chef Leony always greet us with warm smiles and provide such kind, attentive assistance at the Cliff Lounge, for me, husband and my baby’s diet. The Lady in Red team has also been very prompt in helping us. Although one of our room requests was not noted, it’s really the genuine hospitality and overall customer experience that keep us coming back. We do hope to see more variety added to the Cliff Lounge menu in the future, particularly for its afternoon tea and evening cocktail time, to make the experience even better.

We started our Bali trip at this resort to unwind and adjust to the significant time difference from the USA. We made the right decision as this property was serene and beautiful. The two bedroom villa was the perfect size for a family of four and among the nicest we have stayed at. All staff at the property we encountered provided exceptional service. All meals provided were delicious. Would recommend this location for those travelling with children.

Experienced 3 massages at Apurva Kempinski with Lola (signature massage), Yolanda (a Luxury Escapes included massage on a Zero G chair) & a foot massage with Sugi. All excellent with medium pressure with Sugi most “my medium” pressure. Ladies were all lovely & attentive. Stunning looking spa. Highly recommend

Our stay at Apurva Kempinski Bali was exceptional. This was our first Kempinski experience worldwide, and as frequent travellers, we were genuinely impressed — the level of service and attentiveness here is truly on another level. From the moment we arrived until checkout, the Lady in Red team — Jennifer, Summer, Naomi, and Niar — looked after us incredibly well. They assisted with multiple requests promptly, responded to even our random questions with ease, and made everything feel seamless throughout our stay. It honestly felt like they were always one step ahead. During check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Dina from the Cliff Lounge, and she immediately stood out. She was attentive, lively, confident, and carried herself with such professionalism and warmth. It genuinely felt like she had been working at the hotel for many years — from the way she spoke to how she engaged with us. We were very surprised to learn she is still a trainee. Our time at the Cliff Lounge became a daily highlight. Sintia, Arya, and Dedi were always checking in on us during our meals to make sure we were well looked after, and their consistency and care did not go unnoticed. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly accommodating — always willing to prepare food and beverage items that my wife and I requested, even when they weren’t on the menu. A special thank you to Sintia, who went above and beyond — remembering our preferences, organising my wife’s daily mango, and making my birthday extra special. We truly wish we could name everyone at the Cliff Lounge, because every single staff member was lovely, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile. One of the most meaningful moments of our stay was thanks to Chef Leone, who went out of her way to prepare Tapi Uleh — a dish I hadn’t had in 14 years since leaving Indonesia. It brought back very special childhood memories that I will carry with me for a long time. I was deeply touched by that gesture. Thank you as well to Chef Sudarti, who was always checking in to see if we wanted anything prepared beyond the menu. The beachfront team — Suarsa, Suwika, Arta, and Gusti — also made a big impact on our stay. They were always willing to help, have a chat, and I had such fun yarning with these guys. They made my daily paddleboarding something I genuinely looked forward to each day. We are also very grateful to Ayu from bookings, who assisted us when we decided to extend our stay for two more nights. She went out of her way to accommodate our very specific preferred room layout, and coordinated everything smoothly for us. Another standout detail was the Tempur memory foam pillow provided for my wife, who has ongoing neck issues. We have stayed in many hotels around the world and often request this, but this is the first time it was genuinely to her liking and preference, and truly therapeutic. Lastly, we absolutely loved the beach. The wave breaker made such a difference — for the first time, my wife was able to comfortably swim in the ocean in Bali, as the water was calm and enjoyable. That alone made this stay even more special for us. We also loved the architecture and landscaping — especially the daily walks along the beautifully designed paths lined with palm trees and climbing ivy. It made the entire experience feel even more serene and memorable. From start to finish, everything was effortless, and for the first time in a while, we left a hotel not wanting to leave. For our first Kempinski experience, this has set the bar incredibly high. We will definitely be back — next time with our family.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Apurva Kempinski Bali for 2 nights with my two daughters, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The hotel itself is stunning, with breathtaking architecture and beautiful ocean views. My daughters absolutely loved every moment of our stay, especially the pools and the spacious, comfortable room. The atmosphere was both luxurious and family-friendly, making it perfect for traveling with children. We also enjoyed the variety of dining options, all of which offered delicious food and great service. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure that we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, our stay was nothing short of amazing. It was a perfect short getaway filled with relaxation, fun, and quality time with my daughters. We would definitely love to come back again.
