The Mulia

We had an incredible stay at The Mulia and can't speak highly enough of the amazing staff who made our visit unforgettable. Special thanks to Debi ( butler), Yuni ( at Edogin), Adi, all staff at The Mulia cafe/restaurant, kids club for their hospitality and exceptional service. We can't wait to come back!

We had the best time at the Mulia. We stayed in the suites at Mulia rather than Mulia resort and it was 100% worth the extra money. The butler services and customer service generally is EXCEPTIONAL. The pools and dining here are also fantastic. Will definitely be back! A special thank you to Ketut, Gilbert, Rizki and Wirzan who were exceptional.

We just had our wedding reception here and the entire hotel team was flawless. Amazing. We would definitely stay here everytime we go to bali.

Our family has just returned from yet another incredible stay at The Mulia in Bali — visit number six, which at this point surely qualifies us for some kind of residency, or at least an honorary staff badge. Every time we arrive, it feels less like checking into a hotel and more like returning to a place that knows us, understands us, and somehow still welcomes us with open arms despite the chaos that two young daughters inevitably bring. The service team, led by Chief Butler Ali Faisal, continues to set the gold standard for hospitality. Herlina deserves her own round of applause for recognising us before we even make it to the lobby, a warm touch that makes us feel wonderfully special and slightly concerned about how often we must be showing up. Their warmth makes The Mulia feel like our home away from home, and honestly, we trust them with our comfort, our happiness, and the unpredictable decision-making of our children… which says a lot. The à la carte breakfast remains legendary. The quality is so high that it has completely ruined breakfast anywhere else in the world for us. The range is impressive, the flavours are unreal, and the service is so attentive that I’m half-convinced they can read minds. Afternoon tea is equally indulgent, and the cocktail selection is so good it should come with a warning label. A huge shout-out to Yogi, whose service, beautiful perfume and talents border on magical. At this point, he probably knows our preferences better than we do. Of course, no Mulia stay would be complete without mentioning the butler service, and Debi deserves a medal, or at the very least, a spa day for the way he looks after us. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him. His warmth, enthusiasm, and that ever-present smile make every interaction a joy. If the world had more Debis, we’d all be a lot happier… and a lot more organised. Once again, The Mulia has given us a stay filled with comfort, laughter, indulgence, and that rare sense of being truly cared for. We’re already counting down the days until visit number seven. At this rate, we may as well start leaving a toothbrush there permanently.

Our stay at The Mulia was nothing short of magnificent with Debi taking charge with exceptional professionalism and charm, Yogi with his super attentiveness and attention to detail in The Lounge, and all the other daily staff who were around to make our stay as comfortable as possible and even engage and look after our children, which was an exceptional touch. We can't wait to return next year!
