Reviews for The Mulia

Great honeymoon spot

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 hours ago

My new wife and I spent 5 nights here as part of our honeymoon to Bali and had an amazing time. Key highlights: - Big luxury resort in good location. - Rooms were amazing. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. We paid for an ocean-view suite and it was absolutely worth it. - Food was excellent with several choices of venue for each meal. The teppenyaki live cooking experience at Edogin was particularly good. - Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and proactive in making it a great stay. We had two private meals and were waited on by Andre and Sri respectively, who were both wonderful. - The Spa was the best I’ve ever been to. My wife and I got a Couples Sensation massage and it was the best massage both of us have ever had. Gita and the staff at the spa were outstanding. - The pools were fantastic. - Easy transport to airport. Some considerations: - It’s a bigger and busier resort, so occasionally service was on the slow-side. - Nusa Dua beach itself is not necessarily the nicest beach ever. Whilst the area near the resort is quiet, there sand was quite coarse and there was a decent about of garbage in the water sadly. - There were quite a lot of families with small kids at the resort, so if you’re looking for something quiet I would recommend looking somewhere adult only. Overall excellent stay and would happily highly recommend to anyone heading to Bali.

Massage from heaven

This is my review of just the spa at The Mulia. Nestled in the lush greenery you are entering this sanctuary. After your greeting and discussion of your desired treatment including selecting your preferred oil you are led to the private, quiet rooms in the back where your therapist will await you. Starting with gentle washing of your feet my therapist Nina made me welcome and showed her commitment to make this a great experience. During these few minutes you can get introductions out of the way so later during the actual massage only the bodies talk to each other and no further words are necessary. Nina has a touch second to nobody else I have experienced over the years. With every move you sense how much she puts her entire passion, respect and body into her work. It’s not just your muscles that are moved into the right spots but she will also take your mind along with it into an equally relaxed state. She never rushes anything and it with the massage every single second. I am looking forward a return to the Mulia Soa and wish for many other vacationers to experience the same here as well.

Amazing swimming pool, perfect beach at the doorstep, lots of food options, spacious rooms (We were in a suite at The Mulia rather than the Mulia Resort) very helpful concierge, and incredible staff.

The Mulia Hotel is indeed good, especially the service at the FO is very good, indeed a 5-star service, but unfortunately the staff at the Kids Club need training because they are very unfriendly and predly.....why is the five-star hotel kid club staff so far from a five-star service...does HR never check CCTV?
