The Mulia

Wow. What an unbelievable location, right on the beach surrounded by a reef giving calm waters if you get tired of the six or so oversized lagoon pools. Chilled places all over the resort for drinks or great food in 7 restaurants. Live music in a number of locations. We found Table 8 the Chinese restaurant a great experience, but the staff at every restaurant, every bar, every pool location were a highlight. Nothing is too much trouble. After 2 days of our 8 night stay our names were remembered by the breakfast staff then the guys around the pool would set up our Sun lounges with two beach towels each, bottles of chilled water and freshly cut fruit. The afternoon 2 hour afternoon tea sessions were similar. Our drinks order was remembered after 2 days and delivered to our table before we even ordered. And we were offered double shots and all included in our package. The butler service was exceptional getting us reservations at the various restaurants and bars. Again the staff were incredible, a smile and hello every time we walked past. If you like mojitos make sure you order the Mulia Mojito almost a bucket of sunshine. Wow. JJ

We had the best time all the staff were amazing

I had a wonderful stay—the service, ambience, and pool were all excellent. The staff were especially warm and attentive, particularly Yogi, Flavianus, and Gus Eka, who made the experience even more memorable.

The Mulia Suites was nothing short of heavenly, truly an ethereal experience from start to finish. What sets The Mulia apart is its exceptional staff. Their warmth, attentiveness and genuine care make every moment feel effortless. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We stayed for six nights on a Luxury Escapes package in a Baron’s Suite with a garden view. It was such a treat to return to our room after a swim and relax in our own private jacuzzi, a perfect way to unwind. The inclusions in the package were fantastic. Each morning we enjoyed a refined, relaxed breakfast in the lounge, and having dining credits to use across the restaurants made lunches and dinners feel indulgent and easy. Soleil was a standout and quickly became our favourite. Travelling with our young son, the experience was just as special for him. He loved the kids club and looked forward to it each day after spending time in the splash park. All in all, this was a true five star holiday with something for everyone in the family, equal parts relaxing, indulgent and genuinely memorable.
