A fantastic experience & stay! We stayed in a beautiful and spacious partial oceanfront room with amazing Apothia soap and cream in the room. Loved the Apothia fragrance diffused into the lobby resulting in an order of products from Apothia to welcome us home. We had a fantastic meal at Valle and enjoyed the Rooftop restaurant/bar. The large gift shop is worth a visit too!

Hotel is beautiful, and upscale. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel and rooms are spotless and the location is ideal. The only issue/frustration is the pool set-up. There is not enough seating for hotel guests, as the tables and lounges are often “reserved” for people renting out the private cabana’s, or for those who have reserved a table. The vibe is very “Real Housewives”… it was actually fairly entertaining for my daughter and I as we love people watching, but the pool area is far from family friendly. My daughter and I lovingly referred to the pool as “Ibiza” with the electronic music, bottle service, overpriced drinks and apps, etc. It feels very Miami, so if you appreciate that then you will be happy. We stayed at Sea Bird (sister resort) last time and I much prefer that for its more family/laid back vibe. Both resorts are equally gorgeous, and you have access to amenities at both, so it just depends on your style… but other than the pool situation, and outrageous room prices which I think should all but guarantee a lounge at the pool, our stay was great!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, cozy, and comfortable from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and everything was thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. The peaceful environment made it easy to unwind and recharge. Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation, this hotel is a perfect choice for a quiet and comfortable stay. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and cozy hotel experience.

One of the top 3 Hyatt’s, we have stayed at over the past three years , pretty exceptional for its size and location. We were celebrating our anniversary & my wife’s 80th birthday, that they provided personal touches and thoughtful recognition . We will be returning soon. Commendations to Rob Serpico and Erick Ramos for being so thoughtful and helpful.

The hotel is nice and the location is good. This used to be a favorite. They have an amazing rooftop hot tub overlooking the ocean…. However, to maximize their bar revenue, they have put bar seating in the gated off pool area. Now, the hot tub and pool are not usable at night if you wish to relax! If your plan was to watch a sunset from the hot tub, be prepared to be overrun with bar patrons. It was bad enough you used to have to walk through the crowded bar to get to the private pool area. Now you have to compete with the bar to use it! I brought this to the attention of the hotel manager. Their response was their email response: “We understand that having the Rooftop Bar adjacent to the pool area can be challenging when looking to relax in a calm environment. Our beach rambler is an alternative to hotel guests that are seeking a different type of environment. They can provide complimentary umbrellas and chairs to hotel guests. We also have a jacuzzi at our sister hotel the Seabird resort available for Mission pacific Hotel guests, it is also adjacent to the Shelter Club, another of our Food & beverage outlet.“ Lets be clear… the bar is not adjacent. It is IN the pool area now that before was private. And the alternative solution is to put on your bathing suit and walk across the street to their sister hotel is ridiculous! You pay A LOT for the amenities of the hotel that you cannot enjoy. I recommend staying elsewhere if you wish to relax.
