Above and beyond expectations! The decor, the beachy rooms, super comfortable bed and pillows, the views, everything seems new and fresh. The restaurants, the friendly and supportive staff, the spa, the rooftop bar, and did I mention the views :-) We stay here several times a year. Favorite hotel. A special shoutout to Ashley and Ibrahim.

The entire resort was amazing! The service was top-notch from the moment we parked to the moment we left. We absolutely loved everything from the delightful scent of the hotel to the easy access to the beach. And guess what? The Top Gun house was right on the property! It was like something out of a movie! Now, I must warn you about the restaurant, Piper. We had a terrible experience there. For dinner, we ordered a $100 ribeye, medium, pasta, octopus, and a few drinks. The drinks took forever to come out, and the first attempt at the steak was chewy and lacked flavor. It was honestly a $50 steak. The server was so kind as to offer a remake, but the meat came out the same way. Slow service and low-quality food, but I guess the premium charge came from being close to the ocean. Breakfast was also overpriced ($51 breakfast buffet that I would pay $30 for). But the friendly server made the meal tolerable. We’re super excited to come back to Mission Pacific again, but next time, we’ll definitely skip Piper.

We were there for our 50th anniversary and the hotel went all out to help us celebrate! We were upgraded to a beautiful front ocean view room that they had decorated with a classy 'congratulations' banner, silver and white balloons, a bottle of wine, and a box of chocolates. It was such a surprise and very special. Everyone from the valets to the front desk to the High/Low waitstaff was very nice, efficient, and helpful. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Mission Pacific with my boyfriend for my 30th birthday and, unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it. While the hotel itself is beautiful, the experience did not match the cost. The location is incredibly loud with noise from the pier carrying into the rooms, and the pool situation was frustrating. We arrived at 10am and all spots were already taken. A large portion of the pool deck is reserved for rentable cabanas, so even as hotel guests, we were asked to leave chairs we found—despite there being nowhere else to sit. The staff seemed focused solely on serving the cabana area and were dismissive and rude to us and other guests. At one point, they started placing “reserved” signs on random open spots, further limiting access. Overall, it felt like the hotel prioritizes outside guests over their own, and it made for a disappointing stay. Definitely not worth the price.

Amazing location and views by day and night. Perfect way to start your holiday if visiting other places. Staff are extremely helpful. Great restaurant and cocktails from rooftop bar. Easy valet parking. Wish we could have stayed longer. Didn't want to leave.
