Nice hotel in a very nice location. Room service food quality was below expectation. Parking is $5 across the street but $50 @ hotel...seems odd. I parked across the street assuming it was Self Parking (ie its that close to the hotel).

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the ocean view from my balcony was absolutely stunning! My husband and I had a wonderful time over the weekend.

Mission Pacific Resort was the PERFECT hotel for a fairly quick business trip. Lots of quiet places to sit and get work done between meetings, both with and without table service. The beds were comfortable, and the room nice and clean. Staff quickly responded to needs and issues. The texting service with concierge is quick and convenient to obtain dining reservations and attend to inquiries. Aside from the hotel services, the location is great with the ocean and pier across the street and a plethora of restaurants in easy walking distance.

The resort completely exceeded my expectations. We were in town for the Marine RECON Challenge and took a gamble by deciding to stay in Oceanside instead of one of the bougier neighboring cities. Turned out to be a great choice. The Mission Pacific Resort (and sister property next door, the Sea Bird Resort) will soon be 5-star properties. Management has really invested in training their employees in the fine art of customer service and it has paid off. Every single interaction with hotel employees included proactive tips & solutions that were very helpful. Warmly & engaging staff every single conversation. We booked 3 nights in the King Oceanfront suite, which was as lovely as expected. Bathroom was well appointed and very attractive. Spacious & sunny suite, beautiful ocean front views. Arrival day at check-in I bumped up from ocean *view* to ocean *front*. Unfortunately, all of our luggage was delivered to the unoccupied original ocean view room. It dawned on us what might have happened. Tracked down bell man, who rescued our luggage and made it right. The next day Management texted me to apologize and owned their communication mistake. Wow! Well done!! Pro tips: * Ocean view rooms are interior facing into the property with partial ocean views off a small balcony. * Ocean front room are large corner suites with lots of light. * Tub in the ocean front room doesn't have a heat sensor. Be careful with water temperature. The tub is large that the water is much hotter at the bottom of the tub. First world problems. * The rooftop pool loungers and umbrellas are gorgeous and comfortable. Being the rooftop, it does get breezy. * The Rooftop poolside menu is a foodie delight. Some of the most innovative & delicious poolside food anywhere. Multiple days & multiple orders delivered with record speed too. * The guests were a mix of couples, girls weekend & and a few families with young kids. It's a fit for everyone. * Like all Southern California beach cities, as the sun starts to set, the temps drop off quickly and the wind picks up. Bring your sweatshirts! * The resort has direct access on property to the famous Top Gun House. * The resort is very quiet. We didn't hear any of our neighbors. * The resort is on the beach front, but a main thoroughfare is between the resort and the sand/pier. With balcony doors wide open, you can hear the cars if they rev their engines. * Great location to walk everywhere. There is a lot of foot traffic on the main thoroughfare, but pedestrians are quiet & respectful. Very safe to walk around at night. * Not a bargain, but as with everything else in life, you get what you pay for. * If you can, go for the ocean front suite.

Overall, a good place. would visit the place again in the future. I really like the fact that I was across the street from the beach and the view was awesome.
