Nestled in the bohemian enclave of Ojai is the historic Ojai Valley Inn, a luxurious retreat that has been one of California’s most revered destinations since opening in 1923. Located just 90 minutes north of Los Angeles, the resort overlooks the unspoiled natural beauty of its mountain surroundings and celebrates the relaxed glamour of California’s past to create an unparalleled resort experience that is quintessentially Ojai. The resort recently turned the page to a new chapter with the unveiling of enhancements that further elevate the resort experience while remaining true to its authentic spirit and include: chic outdoor oasis, Indigo Pool; new signature restaurant Olivella; the thoughtfully refreshed, historic Wallace Neff Heritage Bar, and Libbey’s, a fresh artisan market, café and boutique.

This is such a beautiful piece of property and everyone involved with the operation of this resort seem to be terrific stewards of the land. Yes, there are more glamorous resorts, but from top to bottom the Ojai Valley Inn does everything at a very high level of execution. Service, facilities, rooms, F&B, activities, spa, golf, tennis, all are executed to a very high level. I can't recommend this property enough for a great get away for couples, or families.

Our family had an awesome experience staying at Ojai Vally Inn. It was truly a magical place, especially if you have a little one. The hotel staffs were so thoughtful that we kept being surprised by all the small details that the hotel paid attention to. We can’t wait to return.

Avoid this hotel during a school holiday break if you're not traveling with little kids. The hotel was swarming with screaming toddlers throughout the property with very little parental intervention. One hour wait to sit down for breakfast while half the tables were empty. Understaffed and overwhelmed. Internet kept cutting out and very weak signal in the rooms. Beautiful complex and golf but sadly this is my first and last time staying at Ojai Valley Inn. They either need more staff during holidays or cap the number of rooms that they rent out. No thanks

Beautiful resort with great amenities and restaurants. For the price point of this resort, the rooms should offer a fully-stocked mini-bar. Given the separation of the resort rooms and the grocery serves, this is essential. This is a serious limitation.

Lovely place to recharge. The grounds are exquisitely maintained, the food is very good, the service unobtrusive but present when needed.
