Caribe Royale Orlando

Extremely disappointed by a number of hygiene and cleanliness issues during our stay at Caribe Royale Orlando. At the Calypso Bar, I ordered a large shandy and watched a member of staff take a half-drunk beer that another guest had left behind, top it up with lemonade, and serve it to me. She then walked away. I asked another member of staff to replace it and explained what I had witnessed. The new member of staff spoke to the original server, but rather than questioning or addressing what had happened, it was simply brushed over and the drink was discarded and replaced. This is completely unacceptable and a serious hygiene concern. Unfortunately, we have also had issues with housekeeping. Our bedroom has not been properly swept, with visible clumps of dust and fluff left in the corners of the room. We have found long black curly hairs on top of the beds and blue pen marks on the bed sheets. On several days, cup rings have also been left on surfaces without being wiped away. This is not the standard of cleanliness I would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Our room safe also wasn’t working when we arrived. However, after speaking to reception, someone was sent out promptly to repair it, so I do appreciate the quick response to that issue. Additionally, we were extremely concerned to find the lifeguard asleep while on duty at the top of the slide. This raises serious questions about poolside safety and supervision, which should never be compromised. We had actually been considering returning to Caribe Royale for my 40th birthday, but unfortunately, after this experience, we are now having serious doubts about doing so. We have otherwise enjoyed the hotel, which makes these issues particularly disappointing. I hope management will take our concerns seriously and use this opportunity to put things right.

READ THE FINE PRINT! The rate posted is not the rate you pay. There are add-ons that were not made known until check-in. It was too late at night, after 12 hour drive, to change hotels. Housekeeping were loud and boisterous in the halls early in the morning. Housekeeping never left additional toilet tissue and we ran out of kleenex. There was a lot of traffic noise from highway 536.

Stayed here 4 nights. The hotel itself if ok for what I paid. it’s been renovated. I’m taking away 3 stars because the staff running the hotel were not very helpful unfortunately. Additionally, the hidden fees are absolutely brutal even after you have paid and booked your room. 38 bucks for parking per night additionally, parking sales tax (what the heck is even that), leisure hotel fee, hotel fee sales tax, hotel fee occupancy tax and more per night! This was just a money grab. Additionally, They charge you a deposit and they will make sure to keep your deposit. I paid almost $400. I was not happy with the sneaky charges and will not be returning unless some justice has been delivered. I’ve attached the charges for the night I was there. Judge for yourself, but I personally absolutely do not recommend.

From the moment I checked in for a business trip in a pouring down rainstorm that stayed for 2 days, they were absolutely delightful. My suite was like an apartment...huge..clean and well played out. Friendly, Helpful and for the first time in my life I couldn't find my car. The valets drove me around until I found it. We are a family of 5 and got a 2 bedroom villa for 12 nights. Was perfect for what we needed. Room was spacious and clean and the daily cleaning service was good. Washer and dryer worked well. Location to all Disney parks is great, at just 15 min drive to each, as well as to nearby supermarkets and outlets. Steve Brown the pool attendant really took care of us by the pool and the kids really took a liking to him.
