Castle Hotel, Autograph Collection

Stayed for two nights for a weekend break, but was very disappointed. There only appeared to be four groups of people staying at the hotel on the first morning, but they forgot our breakfast order and we waited 45 minutes for breakfast. On departure, there was no fond farewell from the receptionist, who needed to go on a training course for customer care. She didn't ask us what our stay was like or seemed bothered. On the second morning the cooked breakfast came while I was still eating a bowl of cereal. A poor experience.

Luis, who works at the bar in Castle Hotel, is an incredibly kind and friendly person. He always greets us with a smile and goes above and beyond to meet any request. His positive energy and attention make us feel special every time. We are so grateful to Luis!

Love this place!!! Especially the staff at the bar and the pool bar! Luis Torres is awesome. Super friendly and attentive. The hotel is great! Fun environment. The pool is so relaxing and beautiful! We were here for my boyfriend's birthday and they even brought balloons to the room. Joe the concierge is amazing and super helpful. I will definitely be back!!!

I absolutely love The Castle Hotel. The staff were very tentative, polite and kind. I really enjoyed my time at the pool, Louie at the pool bar was so kind. Thank you for everything.

Given this property is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, I was expected a bit more of a refined lodging experience. As noted in the title, I was underwhelmed by the room. That being said, the front desk service was very attentive and kind. And, the bar is excellent — one of the best hotel bars I have experienced — in part, because of the bartender, Robert; he is a master of cocktails!
