I was expecting more…the room was showing its age, not very spacious, and bit overdone in terms of decor.
Given this property is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, I was expected a bit more of a refined lodging experience. As noted in the title, I was underwhelmed by the room. That being said, the front desk service was very attentive and kind. And, the bar is excellent — one of the best hotel bars I have experienced — in part, because of the bartender, Robert; he is a master of cocktails!

While the hotel is on par with the price paid, the Bartender in the Guild Bar was the best of the best. He was a pleasure to speak, personable , and made great drinks.

AMAZING
Johan received my package from UPS the day before I arrived according to UP Tracking system. When I arrived to the Castle hotel Johan brought my package to the lobby and offered me a hand with getting it to my room/the car to take to my event! His joy and enthusiasm set the tone for the rest of my night and time in Orlando! Thank you Johan for not only doing an AMAZING job but being a good human.

Luis at the bar was awesome!
I had the pleasure of meeting Luis at the pool bar and he was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, he made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The drinks were delicious and very well crafted. His personality was very warm and welcoming. We ordered a cheese pizza and the ingredients were fresh and omg we ate every last crumb! We will most definitely be back, and if you’re planning on visiting the Castle Hotel, hopefully you will encounter Luis because he made the whole experience memorable.
