Beautiful property with all the amenities you would expect from an Hyatt. Multiple pools for families and adults. Great restaurants on site. Great location across from the convention center

Overall this hotel is convenient if you are catching a flight and don’t want to shove all the rush of travel into one day. Room is clean and the ac worked well. The ceiling fan is a nice edition. The atrium view is a bit loud and the lights break through the black out curtains. The runway side was actually much quieter when we stayed here before. The restaurant downstairs has a fairly decent breakfast. My big gripe? After breakfast we wanted a cup of coffee to take upstairs to our room. We were met with an empty urn. No big deal, we will just ask for another. When I asked the desk attendant for more coffee I was told(quite rudely) that they were “getting ready to pull it and that they wouldn’t refill it” It was 8:45 AM!!! On a SATURDAY! Who pulls coffee at EIGHT?! Ten? Maybe but EIGHT?! Are you kidding me?! To add to the frustration, their elevator situation is insane. There are ten floors and every single time we wanted to go up or down we had to wait sometimes close to 5 minutes for an elevator because even though there are four elevators, it seems like only one works at a time. Coming down? You can forget it, it stops on every floor going down and coming up. Sad part is that the elevators are so small that even when they are full, the elevator still stops at every floor anyway. There is no way to stop it. So plan for that.

Stayed here while attending an event at the Orange county convention center. The hotel is big with two towers of rooms with separate elevator banks serving certain floors. The hotel was full due to two different dance competitions and eduction software conference. So at times you had to wait in the lobby for an elevator. Also the pool was packed. It’s undersized compared to other hotels in the area. No loungers midday. There’s a private pool in the spa area for adults who book a treatment. The lounge was ok for continental breakfast and snacks. There was one warm dish like a mini egg scramble. I enjoyed salmon, chopped hard boiled eggs and red onions with cream cheese on a toasted bagel each morning. The valet was efficient. You text them your id number and they reply with an estimated time for when your car will be ready. At times we had to wait 25min. Good thing we weren’t in a hurry. We had a suite with a balcony so we were able to enjoy the fireworks from all the parks! We noticed that the ac only ran if you were moving around on the room. I didn’t mind the energy efficiency but my husband found it annoying and hot.
