Hyatt Regency Orlando

Everything was as expected and better in some cases. Valet crew was extremely helpful and accommodating. The bathroom was impeccable.

We enjoyed our stay. I loved that everything was in close proximity and even walking distance to restaurants. The kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed sitting out watching the game abc having drinks poolside as well. The beds were comfy. Overall great stay for our family.

The hotel is very convenient for the convention center. As a Globalist, we got an upgraded room and access to the lounge with breakfast, evening snacks & deserts and amazing views. That was all good. The reason for my review is to let travelers know that 1) the grotto pool is currently under construction - this was not clear to me while booking and we have used it in prior visits, and 2) the "adult" pool has been renovated and now includes a bar area, plus huge, no, HUGE TV screens along the ENTIRE length of the pool, blasting football games the entire time the pool is open. This was very distracting, as one cannot be at the pool and not see the screens (the only respite was going to the jacuzzi, which is a bit further away), plus, they have sound on, so if you are in the pool, you are surrounded by football. Given the size of the screens, it's showing 3 different things at once, at least 2 difference games, plus a commercial. My family found it hugely distracting and completely killing the tranquil pool experience that we have been used to on prior visits.

Everything was great except checkout. Nobody was at the front desk at 4am and my wife made the arrangements so I didn’t have a password to checkout online

We spent a weekend at Hyatt Regency Orlando, and the hotel was much larger than we expected, with two towers. As a Globalist, I was upgraded to a Studio on the Regency Club level. The room was very spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows, although the view was fairly average, overlooking some construction and exposed rooftops. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but I felt the generous space could have been put to better use in terms of layout and design. The Regency Club offered evening hors d’oeuvres, including beef meatballs, along with two dessert options later in the evening. The real highlight, though, was the view from the lounge. Despite being on the same floor as our room, it offered a much better view of the Orlando skyline. We really enjoyed watching the city and the sunset from there. The hotel’s main pool also looked very nice, though unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it. Overall, we had a pleasant weekend stay and particularly appreciated the Regency Club experience.
