Hyatt Regency Orlando

The hotel was very clean and staff attentive. The grounds were nicely kept and bathrooms were clean. Rooms were clean. The bathrooms in the conference center were a good distance from the actual conference room we were in but other than that it was a great stay.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Orlando and was disappointed with the overall condition of my room, especially for a hotel of this reputation and price point. Upon entering the room, there was a strong old smell. As I inspected further, I found visible mold in several areas of the bathroom — including the grout lines, corners, and where the tile meets the wall. Parts of the wall and floor trim were cracked, deteriorating, and blackened. These were not minor issues; they clearly had been present for a long time. I’ve attached photos to show the extent of the damage. Dust was also noticeable on common surfaces like the charging station and outlets, giving the impression that the room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly before arrival. I contacted the hotel about these concerns. While the staff responded politely, the solutions offered didn’t match the seriousness of the issues. I was offered room spray, a quick look at the shower, or a room move close to checkout time. Regarding the extremely soft mattress causing back discomfort, I was told that all rooms use the same mattress and that there was no alternative. I even later received an automated text asking if I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the room — which clearly didn’t reflect the condition I reported. The hotel did offer a complimentary 12 pm checkout, which I appreciated, but the maintenance and cleanliness problems overshadowed the stay. For a Hyatt Regency attached to the Orange County Convention Center, I expected higher standards. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests don’t experience the same.

Great overall experience, staff was great, convention was dynamic, really enjoyed the restaurants and food selections, I would definitely recommend this hotel to all m traveling business associates traveling to Orlando Florida.

Very bad smell in the room. Very poor sound insulation. They even ask whether the room should be cleaned each day. No permanent staff at the reception. Breakfast was awful and offered almost no choice. A level of service unworthy of Hyatt.

Hotel was extremely clean. The rooms were solid and very quiet at night. Bed was very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
