Lake Nona Wave Hotel

We’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and while everyone is beyond friendly, Jesse and Rema consistently stand out. Every time, they’ve handled our bags with care and made the whole check-in and check-out process smooth and stress-free. They’re always friendly and genuinely helpful — the kind of service that makes you look forward to coming back. Thank you both for making our stays so pleasant!

I left this stay feeling very disappointed because it was nothing like I expected. I arrived about an hour before check-in. While I understand that early check-in isn't always possible, many hotels will make an effort to accommodate guests when they can—especially since my Capital One booking included early check-in and late checkout when available. Instead, I waited in the lobby until 4:00 p.m. for a text saying my room was ready, and that notification never came. I ultimately had to return to the front desk to ask if my room was available. While waiting in the lobby with my teenage sons, I was surprised by the atmosphere. Several guests were walking through the public areas in extremely revealing attire, including one person whose entire backside was exposed. There were also people filming TikTok videos on the restaurant staircase, creating an overall atmosphere that felt more like a party venue than an upscale hotel. The biggest disappointment was the pool area. It was so overcrowded that we didn't feel comfortable using it at all. I later learned the hotel sells day passes to the pool, which explains why it was packed with non-hotel guests. When you're paying well over $300 per night for a room, it's frustrating to find that one of the property's main amenities is so crowded that it's essentially unusable. In my opinion, this policy diminishes the guest experience and cheapens what should be a premium hotel. It's unfortunate because there were some genuine positives. Once we got away from the crowded common areas, our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The Tesla chargers were extremely convenient, and Garni Restaurant was excellent—the staff was professional, the service was efficient, and the food was very good. Unfortunately, the positives weren't enough to outweigh the overall experience. This property has the potential to be much better, but the management of the public spaces and amenities needs serious attention. Until those issues are addressed, I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The atmosphere is lively and it truly feels like an experience. They have great food with great presentation. All of the staff had positive energy.
