The Wave Hotel in Lake Nona is unlike anything else in Orlando. The vibe hits you the moment you walk in with bold modern design, curated art (they have a Botero), smart tech, and an energy that's equal parts lively and relaxed. It truly feels like the living room of Lake Nona. And the rooms? The high-tech bathrooms with stunning showers and Toto toilets are an experience all on their own. Shoutout to Matty, Sven, and Kaitlyn who make the experience. Their warmth and attentiveness are what elevate a stunning hotel into a place you genuinely never want to leave. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend.

From being overcharged at check-in to encountering unclean rugs, damaged nightstands, and poorly maintained bathroom fixtures, the quality of the accommodations has noticeably declined. Additionally, the exterior of the property appears less well-kept than before, with inadequate upkeep of vegetation and overall cleanliness, which detracts from the hotel’s aesthetic appeal. It is disheartening to see such a departure from the level of service and presentation that once distinguished Wave Hotel. While I have genuinely valued my past stays, this recent experience has left me questioning whether I should begin considering alternative accommodations for future visits.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm but still lively, especially with things to do nearby in the Lake Nona area. The location is also a plus. There are restaurants, entertainment, and walkable spots around, which made it easy to find things to do without needing to travel far. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Wave Hotel if you’re looking for a stylish, modern stay with a bit of a luxury feel. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway or even just a staycation.
