The Osaka Station Hotel, Autograph Collection

This was our second stay at The Osaka Station Hotel, and we returned because of its excellent location, very good breakfast and strong value for the quality provided. The hotel is extremely convenient for Osaka Station, trains, shopping and restaurants. Our room was modern, very clean and comfortable, with a well-designed bathroom and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The service was consistently professional, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is modern, elegant and polished, while still feeling relaxed and welcoming. Despite the busy location above Osaka Station, the hotel feels calm once inside, and the high-floor views and lounge added a more exclusive atmosphere to this stay. This time, we booked a room on the top floor, which included a separate check-in experience and access to the lounge. Both made the stay feel more special and were worthwhile additions. Being so high up also meant that our room was remarkably quiet despite the hotel’s central location. Breakfast remains one of the highlights, with a good selection and high-quality food. While this is not an inexpensive hotel, the price is very reasonable for the location, room quality, service and facilities offered. Overall, it remains one of our preferred hotels in Osaka, and we would happily return for a third stay.

This was possibly the best hotel I've stayed in Japan so far over the past few years. The staff are so attentive, the rooms are spacious, it's away from the busy areas but still very accessive by subway. There an endless restaurants located on the bottom of this hotel and the hotel brunch is also quite good. This was easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Japan over the past few years. From the moment I checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to help with anything I needed. The rooms are surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The location is another huge advantage, it's tucked away from the crowds of Umeda, so you get a much quieter and more relaxing atmosphere, while still being just a short walk from Osaka Station and well connected to the rest of the city by subway. One of my favorite parts of staying here was the incredible dining options. The hotel sits above a large collection of restaurants, cafés, and bars, so you're never short on great places to eat without even leaving the building. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with a wide variety of both Japanese and Western options, and everything was fresh and high quality. Overall, this hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury, convenience, and comfort. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium hotel that's close to everything without being in the middle of the chaos.

I recently stayed at The Osaka Station Hotel for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is exceptional. My room was spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable, while the breakfast exceeded my expectations with its excellent quality and wide variety of offerings. It was a wonderful way to start each morning. What impressed me most, however, was the hotel's commitment to customer service. Due to a communication lapse during check-in, there was a discrepancy on my folio. I only noticed it after returning home and reached out to the hotel 11 days after my check-out. To my delight, Front Office Duty Manager Sho Miyatake-san and Front Office staff member Homare Suizu-san responded promptly and resolved the issue over email on the same day, within just three hours. I am grateful to them and the Front Office team for their flexibility, customer-oriented service, and genuine commitment to ensuring that my needs were met. Their professionalism and willingness to help left a lasting impression. Despite the minor hiccup, my overall experience was excellent, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Hands down not only my best stay in Japan, possibly best stay ever! This hotel was luxurious and elegant with an art deco/1920s vibe. One of the best hotel showers with complimentary mini bar, pjs, slippers, robes, and a gorgeous view of the city. The breakfast buffet was incredible based on the pastries and croissants alone! Also, so accessible to get any train around Osaka.

This hotel is located on the upper floors of the KITTE Osaka building, directly connected to Osaka Station. It sits right next to the West Gate, which is less crowded than other Osaka Station gates. It also provides easy access to the JR main platforms and the Umekita platform for the Haruka Express. The surrounding Umeda area offers plenty of dining and shopping options. This is a recently opened hotel. Everything still feels new and well maintained. The signature clock on the lobby floor is a nice touch, but I still have no idea what the Water Station is supposed to be. The elevators were the best feature of the hotel. Even with the lobby transfer system between the lobby and guest floors, I rarely had to wait. I stayed in a high-floor Scenic Twin room. The room felt smaller than expected from the information on the website. The complimentary minibar, including beer, sake and soft drinks, is offered once per stay, which is a friendly gesture. I also liked the lighting system. Unlike many newly opened hotels these days, it was simple and intuitive. The TV felt old, and the remote control was one of the worst I have ever used. Breakfast at The Moment was generally just normal. I never had to wait in line, which I appreciated the most. The freshly served sushi and morning beef were good, and the Mont Blanc dessert was also quite good. Otherwise, there should be more coffee machines, and the coffee beans need improvement. The menu rarely changed over four days, which felt lazy. Even a small rotation or replacing one or two dishes would have added more variation. The lobby always seemed to have plenty of staff. The old-fashioned greetings and staff holding the elevator doors felt more like the Imperial Hotel than a modern hotel, which was not my preference. Ironically, I’m not sure whether this hotel has a dedicated concierge desk, but I did not see one during my stay. Even with so many staff around, only one employee was handling folio printing at check-out. I had to wait 5 to 10 minutes just for a printed folio and almost missed my reserved train. Overall, the location is the biggest reason to stay here. Even as a Hilton Diamond member, I chose this hotel because I had a lot of train travel and shopping during this trip, and it turned out to be a good decision. It is otherwise a very standard modern hotel. The hotel still seems unsure whether it wants to offer classic luxury hospitality like the Waldorf Astoria or Ritz-Carlton, or a more modern, Andaz-like style led by younger staff with an energetic vibe.
