The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka

The Ritz-Carlton Osaka offers a luxurious experience for its guests overall. The staff is truly amazing, with exceptional service provided, particularly by Mounir. However, it's worth noting that the breakfast selection is somewhat limited. The hotel's elegance and attention to detail create a memorable stay in Osaka. Despite the breakfast limitations, the Ritz-Carlton is a remarkable place to stay.

This hotel is a true example of what a Ritz-Carlton should be. We are Marriott Gold members and were upgraded to a corner suite with 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. The views were incredible. It was plush and lovely. All 5 star amenities here. The hotel is built to look like it could be in historic London but right in the Namba area of Osaka with the metro right under the hotel. You can easily go to any area from here using the metro or a fast cab ride. Also, there is a very convenient food court right under the hotel too near the metro station. The pool and spa areas here are also very nice for relaxing a bit. The highlight of our stay here was "the French guy from customer service". LOL. You will see him in our photo attached here with us. This gentleman is a prime example of true excellence in service. If you told me one day that he owned his own hotel, I would not be shocked. He has this way about him where he remembers your name, helps you out with anything you need, is so personable and kind and funny too. He was always right where we needed him to be without even asking. I think this gentleman truly deserves a promotion because out of our entire 3 week trip to Japan, there was not another staff member in any of our 5 star hotels that even came close to his level of service. Our whole stay was perfect. We truly loved the Hotel and having Simon Finch greet us made our check-in process even easier.

It is an old tired rooms, with a terrible breakfast service costing $40+. Service is very tardy and non responsive. One has to ask them else on their own they don’t show up to help or ask. Bonvoy loyalist at Titanium levels and above will get nothing here no upgrades, no free breakfast etc. staying at Ritz not worth it. Unfortunately I Don’t have much to write about as nothing spectacular about this place

This is hands on down the best Ritz Carlton we’ve stayed at. We already love the hotel chain, so this is a high bar to beat. The people at the hotel are extremely nice, welcoming and warm. The hotel rooms are impeccably clean and well maintained. The food is great and the restaurant options are wonderful. We’re vegetarian and still had no trouble finding amazing, tasty food in and around the hotel. The location of the hotel is another plus, accessible to everything we need in Osaka within 10-15 mins taxi ride. Special callout to Tamang and Mr. Simon, the hotel manager. They were extremely sweet and nice to our kid that she still remembers their names. Thank you for the great experience. We hope to be back soon!
