This is my second stay at The Ritz Carlton Osaka. Once in the Summer of 2023 and most recently 7 nights in August 2025. In my opinion, the item that sets the Ritz Carlton apart is the friendly and personal service, from the bell staff, to the staff in the restaurants, the fitness center, and the club floor, almost all of them acknowledged me by name by the third day and would go out of their way to greet me and ask how they could be of service. I must say, this is very different than my experience at the Conrad Osaka last year which is more modern, but with indifferent service. During this stay at the Ritz, I booked a room on the club floor and the value and experience there is unrivaled. Full breakfast beginning at 7am, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner/snacks, and evening drinks and deserts going to 10pm. The manager of the Club Floor was outstanding and was one of the friendliest people in Osaka! By comparison, the Conrad Osaka Executive Club was much more limited with breakfast beginning at 8am and the entire club cleared at 8pm. Given, those limited hours, I didn't use it once during my stay. My room was spacious and everything was in working order including the rain shower and the ice cold air conditioner - a must in Osaka in August. Another special item was the variety of restaurants at the Ritz including an Italian, Chinese, French, and Japanese with other spots including speakeasy bar, and formal tea room. Most had live entertainment consisting of piano players or string instruments. All of them served delicious food in very pleasing settings. The gym and spa are top notch too. A three lane indoor lap pool, a large free weight area, pilates / stretching area, machine weights, 8 treadmills, bikes, etc. Finally, I really dig the Old European vibe of the lobby with paintings, flowers, and classical music piping throughout the first floor. Very different than the modern/minimalistic approach from the Conrad and newer hotels, but the amazing service, proximity to Osaka Station, and amenities put this one on top for me.

My partner and I recently stayed at this gorgeous property located close to Osaka Station. We were greeted warmly by the front door staff and check in was quick and efficient. Our room was well appointed and 5e view of Osaka was great. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast each day as well as the gourmet food store located in the lobby. They had some of the best pastries that I have ever tasted. All the staff were professional and each and everyone is a great ambassador for the hotel and Ritz Carlton brand. It was such a nice experience.

The staff members were friendly and well trained. Most importantly, the hotel was tranquil with the usual Ritz aroma in the air.

The Ritz-Carlton Osaka is a beautiful hotel, but what makes it truly special are its staff. The hotel is decorated in a European style, with classical music playing in lobby and hallways. Music is omnipresent. There was live piano music in the Lobby Lounge and even during breakfast. My partner and I stayed here for four nights. Our room on the 30th floor was spacious and very cozy. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower, and I really appreciated the two sinks. It was clean here, and the miden not only folded our clothes that were draped over a chair, but even sorted the coins that were lying on the table by value. As I mentioned, the staff were what made staying at this hotel truly special. From the desk clerks, to the restaurant staff, to the kind and respectful saleswomen in the hotel shops, to the cleaning ladies... everyone was absolutely amazing. I really appreciate that.

As someone who has traveled the world, owns a travel agency, lived on cruise ships, and experienced global hospitality, I can honestly say I’ve never missed a hotel BEFORE leaving—until now. Literally every moment was filled with an experience. The Ritz Carlton Osaka isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a feeling you carry with you long after checkout. From the moment you step inside, it’s as if you’re floating on clouds. The attention to every detail—the perfectly curated music, the warm and refined decor, the exquisite art—creates an atmosphere of tranquility and understated luxury that is simply unmatched. But it’s the staff who elevate this hotel to a realm I didn’t know existed. Every single member didn’t just provide service—they made you feel cared for. Deeply. Sincerely. You feel it in the way they greet you, assist you, anticipate your needs, and make you feel seen and appreciated. Im so sorry I can't remember everyones name but our concierge Anika from Austria and Shabin bell hop will not soon be forgotten. I’ve stayed in five-star resorts, iconic palaces, and luxury hideaways across continents, but nothing compares to this. The Ritz Carlton Osaka didn’t just set the bar—it became the bar. Five stars? Try ten. Or more! I give it the most stars ever!
