The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka

My wife and I celebrated our silver wedding anniversary with a two night stay here at the end of our tour of Japan. Simon and his Team made our stay so enjoyable , attention to detail was excellent , the Hotel was superb , Sara the concierge was very friendly , helpful and also kindly made an origami card for our anniversary of 25 Crain birds , very thoughtful . Tomoko and Remi from the club lounge who were excellent hosts , a credit to the hotelThank you also for the anniversary message . The Asian restaurant was v good,The Italian Michelin * restaurant was superb a great end to our stay Thank you all Gary & Julie Selkirk

We arrived at the hotel by car and were pleasantly surprised when the valet staff took our luggage and had it waiting at the front desk for check-in, even though we hadn't booked valet parking. After checking in, we went for a swim with our two children. The spa staff had already prepared swimming caps and arm bands for the kids by the pool. After our swim, one of the staff members made a Pikachu origami for my son after noticing his Pikachu T-shirt, which was a lovely touch. We had both dinner and breakfast at Splendido, and both meals were delicious. The standout dish was definitely the lamb chop, which is quite rare to find in Japan!

Must stay here. The hotel and our rooms were absolutely beautiful and perfect location to the best shopping, etc. Staying at The Ritz was one of the highlights of our trip.

the hotel is absolutely great. Service and rooms are everything a 5 star hotel should have. If you like Chinese food, they have they have a restaurant named Xiang Tao, which is probably the best Chinese food I have ever had. They serve the peking duck the same way the old mandarins used to eat it. Mr Tomoya Kusunoki treated us like royalty. I will also like to recommend the concierge service. The entire team knows the region well and can make some great recommendations.

The quality of the experience at the Ritz was what set it apart. The service was amazing - specifically the concierge desk and even more specifically Ms. Shimoura who helped me find specific shopping locations, booked a perfect restaurant reservation and actually walked me out of the hotel and pointed me in the right direction. I was very sorry to leave.
